"The Spice House" w/Hot Tub and a Boat Slip on Torch Lake! in Torch Lake

This Victorian style home was the original "Spice Mill" back in the day; hence the name.  A beautiful home decorated with a nautical theme has lots of space for your active family.  It has a wonderful front porch with a porch swing and two rocking chairs.  It also has a screened in back porch with wicker furniture, and a new hot tub surrounded by a garden.

Located in the village of Alden, across from Torch Lake.  Enjoy the quiet park with a fire pit, volleyball net and deck at the water's edge less than a city block away.  This home also comes with a boat slip on Torch Lake/Clam River; which allows one to access Torch, Elk, Bellaire, Clam and Torch River.

House Details:

The main floor of the house has a spacious kitchen for the active cook in the family with stools for those "helpers" to watch the preparations.  A seperate dining room with an oak table and chairs is off of the kitchen.  A nice size living room awaits you......to sprawl out in after playing on the lake(s) all day.  There is a full size bathroom with beautiful navy blue custom tile, a garden tub and a stand up shower (all linens are also included!).  Another bathroom is also available that also houses a washer and dryer.  One bedroom is located on the main floor that has a twin trundle bed, so its also a king size bed when converted.

The upstairs of the house has three more bedrooms.  One of them has a king size bed, and the other two bedrooms each have a set of twin beds in them.

Lots of space....wow!

Additional services that may be added would be a personal chef, daily (or every 2 days) housekeeping/turn down service, transportation/limousine, private spa services at the home, yacht rentals, and/or any additional services requested.  So, take advantage of our full service concierge and let us do all the work for you!

The area hosts many activities; including Cherry Festival and other local festivals, Micheal Moore's Film Festival, arts and craft shows, concerts in the park, casino's, wineries, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes (a must), performances at Interlochen and the Opera House; you're certain to stay busy.

Enjoy fishing charter boats, catamaran sunset cruises, parasailing (for those who are brave), jetski rentals, hot air balloon rides, our local markets, cherry picking (and other fruits depending upon the season), and hiking trails.

Looking to golf? Perfect area for that! Fantastic golf courses surround Traverse City. Fishing? Look no further. Shopping? How about amazing local shops to find that special treasure. The dining is also fabulous, and we have amazing local chefs that prepare meals that you'll want to tell your friends and family about (as you're looking out at the reflection of the water, or dining by sunset).

June 19 - August 21st $2100.00/week  (Saturday to Saturday)

Off-Season Rates 2009/2010:

Weekly $1050.00   $450.00/2 nights, $600.00/3 nights

Boat Rentals:

Pontoon, jetski's, fishing boats, power boats, dingy's, kayaks, and water trampolines are also available to rent.  Ask our concierge for pricing and availability!
