Vintage Log Cabin #6 on Torch Lake, located on the east side for perfect sunsets. Just minutes away from dozens of fine golf courses, and five minutes away from Bellaire, Michigan, home to world-class dining at Lulu's Restaurant and Shorts Micro Brewery. This cottage was part of a family resort until 2000, when the cabins were sold off individually. A total of eight cottages share 262 feet of frontage on Torch Lake, judged the third most beautiful lake in the world by National Geographic Magazine.
Cedar Shores Resort is a family friendly resort that has a volleyball court, swing set, two docks, a mooring for your boat (if you desire) and a nice swim raft to dive off of. A sandy beach area for kids, and a nice large deck for the adults to gather on........ this resort is the one that you'll want to return to year after year.
WE HAVE THREE CABINS ON THE PROPERTY FOR MULTIFAMILY HOUSING!!!
What a great place to make memories!
house rental amenities
Cabin Interior:
This cabin has two bedrooms, each with a double bed, plus a sofa bed in the living room, so it sleeps a maximum of 6 people. It has a full kitchen with all of the basic utensils needed for cooking, and a dining area. The beds come with fresh linens, and bath and kitchen towels are supplied. If you plan to use the sofa bed, bring a sleeping bag or your own linens please. There is a small screened porch on the lake side of the cottage for relaxing and having your morning coffee.
Exterior:
There is a large Weber kettle grill, and a picnic table for outdoor dining. The shoreline has a boulder retaining wall, but there is a sandy access area for the kids. There are two docks, both are available to everyone, and there is a nice swim raft. The docks are aluminum and vinyl, so no splinters and they stay nice and cool to the touch. There is a large deck that sits right at the lake, and plenty of furniture to sit around and watch the sunsets.

Additional services that may be added would be a personal chef, daily (or every 2 days) housekeeping/turn down service, transportation/limousine, private spa services at the home, yacht rentals, and/or any additional services requested.
Traverse City is about a half hour away, with world-class shopping and dining. It is home to <br />the The Cherry Festival, The Traverse City Film Festival, huge Fourth of July Celebrations, numerous Wine Country events, etc; there is always something happening in T.C. Wine tasting is available at dozens of fine wineries on the two peninsulas, Old Mission and Leelanau. Long known for great white wines, our local vintners are now creating world-class Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. It's like Napa but with even better scenery.
Petosky is about an hour away, Charlevoix is about 45 minutes, both are great towns to spend the day, and to enjoy the nightlife. Bellaire and Alden are just a few minutes away and offer nice shopping and a quaint small town atmosphere. Incredible 5-star dining is right in Bellaire at Lulu's, and the nationally famous Rowe Inn and Tappawango are about 45 minutes away in Ellsworth. There are casinos in T.C. and Petosky, and you are literally surrounded by great golf courses.
Just a mile up the road at the Clam River you can put in your boat or rent a boat or jetski and explore the chain of lakes, which goes all the way to Lake Bellaire. There is a mooring at the resort to moor your boat, just don't leave it in overnight, this is a big lake and it can whip up some weather fast.
Weekly calendars of events/activities will also be provided for you, so you may capture everything this area has to offer.
We look forward to taking care of you on your next vacation!
