Kiwis Creekside Cabin is a beautiful new cedar home with 3 decks, a hot tub, and high speed internet!

Unike many homes in Mt. Hood, the home has beautiful lighting and nice French doors to the big deck off of the kitchen. This makes enjoying the home in the warm months especially nice. In the winter, snuggle in the outdoor Jacuzzi or the jetted tub in the home.

The lower level of the home features a large kitchen with an island and a dining table that is perfect for family meals. There is a spacious living room as well with cable TV. The lower level bedroom has two twin beds so it is a great room for the kids!

The upstairs features a master bedroom with a king bed and a balcony with a view of the creek. There is a second bedroom with a four poster queen bed that adds a touch of elegance. Each of the upstairs bedrooms also have a smaller room within the room with a twin bed. There rooms are perfect for kids who like to have their own space!

Kiwi's Creekside Cabin is a vacation rental home in the Mt Hood area that is owned and operated by a proud New Zealander. New Zealanders are often called Kiwi's and are known the world over for their hospitality, sense of humor and their love of nature and sports. Enjoy some of the New Zealand information found throughout the cabin and become a "Kiwi" yourself while you stay at Kiwi's Creekside Cabin.

Snow Sports

Mt. Hood offers world class year-round skiing, downhill and cross-country. Ski areas are: Mt. Hood Meadows: This is the largest ski resort in the area and has many ski levels. 

Timberline Lodge: This beautiful resort and ski area is a national historical landmark. It has ski runs and lessons for children as wall as and adults. Summer skiing is available on the Palmer Glacier.

Mt Hood Ski Bowl: The resort is the largest night skiing area in America and if very popular with families. 

Golfing

The golf course at The Resort at the Mountain is only 1/2 mile down the road.

  Kiwi's Creekside Cabin is surrounded by the Mt Hood National Forest and the Oregon Mt. Hood Territory.  These are both  nationally known nature areas and they provide many recreational and outdoor nature activities. 
  
  If you enjoy the outdoors, you will find that the Mt. Hood area has some of the best outdoor scenery and activity that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Fishing

Kiwi's Creekside Cabin is next very close to the Salmon River and is popular with those who love to fly fish. The Salmon River offers fishing for premium Steelhead, Salmon and Trout fishing.  The Sandy River and Deschutes River which are also nearby also provide excellent fishing.  For those who like lake fishing there is Trillium Lake and Lost Lake.  

The Fly Fishing Shop is right down the road and they will be happy to arrange guided trips for salmon, trout, walleye, sturgeon or steelhead.  They will even help you find that special fishing hole. 

Rafting

Less than an hour away is The Deschutes River.  This offers some of the best white water rafting in the Northwest.  

If you want to sign up for a professional guided river experience, try out River Drifters.  They are one of the oldest and most experienced whitewater rafting companies in Oregon and Washington.  The guides  are committed to making your adventure fun and safe. 

Alpine Slide

Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is located 20 minutes from Kiwi's Cabin and offers a beautiful trip up a ski lift and then an invigorating ride down the side of the mountain.  You will enjoy an incredible view of the Cascade Mountain Range both on the way up, and on the way down.  The Alpine Slide operates during the summer months. 

Rates range from $125-$300/nt

Cleaning fee varies based on length of stay.

For more than two guests, the fee is $15 per person per night. $10/nt hot tub fee and $30/nt pet fee also apply.
