Vacation Rental Description

"Almost Paradise at Salvo" - the name says it all.
Be our guest at this wonderful OCEANFRONT cottage fronting onto Cape 
Hatteras National Park with the best beach on the Outer Banks just 
100 yards over the dunes. 
Prime area for surfing and surf fishing or just soaking up the rays. 
Endless views of dunes and ocean (look for Dolphins and Whales)with 
the added bonus of sunsets over the Pamlico Sound and the stars over 
the ocean..
4 separate furnished deck areas for relaxation. Plenty of parking and 
a large yard. Pet Friendly.
New in 2006 ---inground heated pool 24x12(heat is 
additional cost) 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Central Heat and air conditioning.
5 bedrooms, 4 facing the ocean. 
2 king masters, one on 2nd level with chaise, one on 3rd level
1 with 2 queens on 2nd level with own deck. 
1 with queen. 
1 with pyramid bunk and trundle pullout. 
The living room sofa converts to a queen sleeper and it also has a 
super comfy chaise lounge. 
2nd level bathroom has a 2 person jacuzzi tub and separate shower. 
The hot tub holds 6 and is located off the living room (level 3) in a 
screened porch with ocean and sound views.(Sunsets are a specialty!!)
The vaulted ceiling great room has a large sectional sofa with 
integral chaise, glider rockers and pusan chairs in front of the gas 
log stone fireplace and TV . 
To your rear is the dining area with an 8 seat dining table and a 4 
seat pub table serviced by a full "chef approved"* 
fully equipped kitchen with a separate ice maker and wet bar with 4 
chairs. Half bath is adjacent to living area. 
Outside the living area is a fullsize deck with picnic table and 
ample furnishings, a favorite with the sunrise and stargazing crowd.
5 TV's with cable, 2 VCR's, 2 DVD's and Nintendo
2 Cd/cassette stereo's  
Free washer and dryer for guest use on 2nd level.
Baby crib, high chair and safety gate. 
Outdoor park style charcoal grill, 2 more picnic tables, hammock, 
outside shower and basketball goal complete the package. 
 Queen beds are new in 2006.
NEW for 2008  King bed on first level and NOW HIGH SPEED INTERNET 
ACCESS.
*Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park NY Class of 2005.
New for 2007. 1 Mens 1 Ladies 1 boys and 1 girls bicycles. (Its about 
6 blocks thru the neighborhood to the Ice Cream Store!!!!!)

Activities and Attractions

Leave your worries behind and travel 18 miles south from Nags Head 
NC, across the Bonner Bridge thru the dunes and Pea Island National 
Refuge to Salvo, part of the Tri-villages on Hatteras Island. 
(Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo).Our wide, white sand ocean beaches are 
safe for swimming or take the toddlers to the Pamlico Sound beach at 
Salvo Day area. Hatteras lighthouse is 25 mins, Hatteras village is 
40 mins with free ferry to Ocracoke Island (voted best beach in USA 
in 2007)and it's lighthouse. 
Ocean racers (minicars) are in Waves and there are fishing piers in 
Rodanthe, Avon and Frisco. 
Plenty of excellent restaurants in the villages or south in Avon, 
Buxton or Frisco. 
Cape Hatteras National Park is free entry and beach driving in 4x4's 
is permitted in designated areas. 
Windsurfing, sailboarding, and kyaking areas are all within minutes. 
Power boating and Jet ski's are allowed in the village areas only. 

Vacation Rental Rates

All rates per week, rentals start on Saturday 4.00pm thru Sat 10.00am
Pets OK. Additional charge $70.00 per week per pet. 
Pool Heat is $300.00 additional per week ($400 in off season.Pool is 
open from April 26 thru Oct 26.
Mention this Vacation Rentals ad and deduct additional $50.00 off the 
lowest rate.


2008 rates. Please check calendar for availability. All rates are 
without pool heat. POOL Heat Additional $300 in season
