Great vacation

Review submitted: July 26, 2012   Date of arrival: July 15, 2012

A fabulous spot for an outdoors holiday. We had great weather and spent most of the week in the water and kayaking. Was great to have access to the boats. A few day trips too - walking along the old railway trail to different beaches and up Mount Major. Would definitely recommend for a family holiday.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers

Owners response: Such glorious weather and the Cotton Valley bike trail is wonderful! It passes by two beaches! We take our back packs with towels and enjoy a great ride and a quick swim and then ride home again! Great exercise and what scenic views along the trail side of Lake Wentworth!

Lakeside peace and fun

Review submitted: July 23, 2012   Date of arrival: July 10, 2012

This is a family house full of character which is peaceful with lovely views while being convenient for Wolfeboro which is just a short walk or kayak away. Loads of lakeside fun to be had with a range of canoes, pedalo and paddleboard as well as a diving platform in the lake. Big verandah, barbecue and outdoor shower make it perfect for summer days and nights.
Dee and Jason really look after you. We were taken for a great boat ride around the main lake. Games to play and lots inside the house to make it feel like a home. Good restaurants and coffee shops in town, especially for ice cream- the Wolfe Trap restaurant is just down the road. Great outdoor activities all over the area as well. Highly recommended for families or anyone after a mixture of peace and fun!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with teenagers, sight seeing

Great value, fantastic location

Review submitted: September 24, 2010   Date of arrival: September 17, 2010

We rented this house for a weekend in September. The owners graciously allowed us to use their pop-up trailer as well as the rooms in the house, as we had a large group. The house is a perfect little place for a lakeside get-away. The best thing though, is the location. It is tucked away in a very quiet spot, but still only a few minutes of a scenic walk into the town of Wolfeboro, which has great cafes, restaurants, galleries etc. We availed of the amenities provided by the owners - the kayaks, canoe, and the fire-pit, and had a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend this property for a Wolfeboro break.
