vacation rental description
Rushing Creek, Hot Tub, Wi-Fi, Perfect Location for Your Mountain Getaway
Welcome to Cozy Creek Cabin! At approximately 4300 feet elevation in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, Cozy Creek Cabin is within 1 mile of the Cataloochee Ski Area (skiing, snowboarding and tubing in the winter), Cataloochee Ranch horseback riding (summer), and just up the mountain from Ghost Town in the Sky and Fie Top Flumes winter/summer tubing.
Our 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom cabin sits on 1.5 acres with Fie Top Creek running through the property. The cabin has central air and heat, but when weather permits there is nothing like falling asleep listening to the creek flow with the windows open. Enjoy an evening watching the stars from the hot tub or just relax by the wood burning stone fireplace - we'll even provide you with firewood!
We are minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway for some beautiful sightseeing. Endless possibilities for entertainment are found in Maggie Valley, as well as nearby Waynesville, Cherokee and Asheville. Ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railway, visit the Cherokee Indian Reservation, go whitewater rafting or hiking. It’s up to you! After exploring, you will have a peaceful, cozy cabin to return to, with relaxing sounds of the rushing creek just out your door.
Walking along the creek, you may catch a glimpse of our mountain speckled trout. Cook-out with the charcoal grill or whip up a meal in the fully equipped and modern kitchen. Cabin has washer/dryer, 2 TVs (Direct TV), DVD, VHS, microwave, wireless internet, and free long distance within the continental United States. Want to bring Fido or Fluffy along? Well behaved pets (25 pounds and under) are always welcome ($75 pet fee applies).
Open year round, Cozy Creek Cabin is accessed by paved and well-maintained Fie Top Road to our well-packed gravel driveway.
Motorcycle accessibility: Packed, loose gravel on a downhill slope driveway. Please come in SLOWLY and use back brake to remain slow.
NO SMOKING in Cabin.
