Shortstop Rental in Oneonta

Welcome to the City of Hills, Oneonta, NY!  Shortstop Rental is a summer weekly vacation rental in the town of Oneonta.  We also rent out our apartment in the fall - spring seasons, please contact us for details!!  Shortstop Rental is conveniently located less than a mile away from the baseball camp, Cooperstown All Star Village.  We are also only 2 miles from Cooperstown Baseball World at SUNY Oneonta.  Oneonta is located in Otsego County in southern New York State, roughly 20 miles from The Baseball Hall of Fame and Cooperstown Dreams Park.  The National Soccer Hall of Fame is located in Oneonta, featuring memorabilia and exhibits that make up one of the largest soccer collections in the world. Our fall foliage in the area is outstanding so if you are traveling in the fall this is a great place to stop!  We are also only 1-2 hours from numerous skiing resorts if you are traveling in the winter.  If you want to relax and get out of the hustle and bustle of NYC, we are around a 3 1/2 hour drive upstate!  Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta are located in Oneonta so many parents & students choose stay with us while visiting the colleges.  We look forward to hearing from you and hope you and your family will come stay with us soon at Shortstop Rental!

There are hundreds of local attractions in the Oneonta & Cooperstown area.  Some of the attractions include The Baseball Hall of Fame, baseball parks, The Soccer Hall of Fame, SUNY Oneonta College, Hartwick College, state parks, lakes, museums, opera houses, music & arts, festivals, theaters, hiking trails, antiques shopping, cider mill tours, brewery tours, fun parks, shopping, dining, golfing, soccer parks and much more!

   * $100 refundable damage deposit and 4% bed tax

   * All summer rentals are by the week, Friday to Friday.

   * All reservations must be secured by a deposit of 50%.

     You can make a credit card payment thru paypal (3% fee).

     AMEX and Corporate Business cards are not accepted.

   * Balance of remaining is due within the next 60 days.

   * Money Orders, Certified Bank Checks or Personal Checks

     should be made payable to:

     We will not accept bank checks from overseas, no exceptions!

Rental Terms and Conditions

   * Cancellations of 60 days or more before the date of arrival will receive

      full refunds, less a $50.00 Processing Fee.

   * Cancellations of 59 days or less no refunds unless property is rented

     again.  If property is re-rented, then payment will be refunded to

     canceling  individual(s), less a $50 processing fee.

   * All reservations are based upon availability at the time of booking.

   * All weekly summer rentals will start on Friday, check in time is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

   * Check out time is the following Friday promptly at 9:00 am. Please adhere to the hours!

   * No Team Parties

   * No Smoking

   * No Pets

   * Please contact Jesse & Jessica if you need an early/late check in/out.

Please be aware of the following policies:

The following policies and rules have been established for the benefit of

all our tenants and our neighbors that live here year around.  Please

make sure that all persons in your group abide by the rules for the fun

and safety of all.  Upon occupancy of our rental property each tenant

agrees to abide by these rules.

-No (team) parties

-No smoking

-No pets

-Quiet hours are from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.

-There will be a $25 fee for lost keys

-Please be considerate of others.  Disorderly, ill-mannered conduct,

drunkenness or profanity will NOT be tolerated at any time.  Parents are responsible for their children’s behavior at ALL times.

-You are responsible for and agree to pay for any damage to the rental property.
