Blossom Hill Farm in Bedford

This 19th century farm house has been completely restored.  The house has a full kitchen which comfortably seats 18 people.  In addition to the 3 bedrooms upstairs, there are 3 queen-size sofa couches in the "Great Room" on the main floor.  The house has TV, air conditioning, washer and dryer.  It has modern heating and a fireplace for cozy winter snuggles.  Our Grand Porch has breath-taking views of the countryside, forest, pasture, orchard and pond.  The porch seats up to 150 guests.  Besides a vacation rental, Blossom Hill Farm is a breath-taking back drop for your dream wedding, reunions, celebrations and/or retreats.  Step back in time and create your perfect vacation memory!

The house on Blossom Hill Farm is surrounded by 263 acres of prime land.  There are:  16 acres of forest land, 82 acres of farmland, 21 acres of apple orchard, and 60 acres of rolling hills with panoramic sunset and sunrises.  In addition, there are tree-covered lanes, sunflower fields, corn fields, vegetable gardens, etc.  Scenic views of Blair, Bedford and Somerset counties can be seen from the hillside on top of the farm.  There are 40 cattle on the property.  Wildlife include:  deer, turkey, squirrels, rabbits, wild geese, birds, ground hogs and on occasion...bear. 

Blossom Hill Farm offers lots of acres for your hiking enjoyment.  As you walk, enjoy the scenery and all the wild life.  If you are not up to walking, you can take a 4-wheel drive vehicle over the property so that you can enjoy this wonderful paradise.  In addition to the attractions listed below, one can enjoy Idyllwild Amusement Park, Mountain or Cresson Playhouse, Bedford Springs Hotel (golf), Incline Plane and Johnstown Flood Memorial and Museum.  The Grand Porch has six rocking chairs to be used for rest and relaxation!

Week night rates (Monday-Thursday) are $300.00 a night.

Weekend night rates (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) are $415.00 a night.

From Friday noon until Monday noon the rate is $1245.00 for the weekend.
