This is a beautifully decorated designer home in Village Santiago within 10 minutes (by golf cart) of Spanish Springs Town Center and 15 minutes (golf cart again) from Lake Sumter.  Wide hardwood plank floors throughout, with terracotta tile in the foyer and master bathroom. The home has an updated kitchen with modern appliances and service for eight with a large, bright eating area, or you can enjoy breakfast out on the lanai.  Enter the lanai through sliding glass doors from the bedroom, living room or kitchen.  Enjoy a glass of wine (or Stella Artois - my favorite) in the built-in hot tub.  The house is fully equipped with cookware, dinnerware, glassware, microwave oven, all small appliances, stove, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher and garbage disposal.  The washer & dryer are conveniently located off the foyer.   Cable TV, internet set-up and local phone service are available for our guests, plus a 1 1/2 car garage with room for a golf cart. All linens are included. The eat in kitchen dining area has a table for four (that expands with insert) and there is a counter snack bar that seats four. The living room has a 46" color TV/VCR and a sofa, loveseat, and reading chair. There is a quiet study off the living room that is entered by French doors.  The master bedroom has its own color TV; it is furnished with furniture from Southern Living, including a King size bed, large walk-in closet, private bath with a walk-in shower.  Guest bedroom includes a queen size bed and modern decor.  Guest bathroom is located across from the guest bedroom.  There are ceiling fans and central air.

The house is a short distance from shopping (either the town center specialty shops or department stores), Publix grocery store, Bealls, and local restaurants with all types of cuisine. 

Our home is located just minutes away from nightly entertainment and dancing in Sumpter Landing Town Square or Spanish Springs Town Square. Other entertainment facilities and activities include movie theaters, bowling alleys, community complexes with tennis, pickle ball, bocce ball and family pools, adult pools or exercise pools ("sports" pools). There are five softball fields and two polo fields.  Enjoy a round of golf on either the executive golf courses or champion golf courses.  There is a golf course for all skill levels.  Amenities include many restaurants from chains to specialty service, churches for all religious affiliations, radio & TV stations, daily newspaper and many scheduled activities per week including sports clubs, crafts, dance lessons, fitness sessions and centers, bridge, dominos, language clubs, instrumental, political action, and educational.  One of my favorite groups is the bluegrass performance club.  There is also excellent medical facilities including a hospital in The Villages should the need arise.

Fifty minutes to Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios.  Enjoy a swim with the Manatees, or a charming afternoon in Mount Dora.  The beaches are also close (either the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf Coast).  Kennedy Space Center can be seen in a day trip.
