We were very disappointeed in this condo. First it was extremely noisy especially between the hours of midnight and four AM. It was very difficult to sleep especially in the master bedroom - very poor noise protection through the ceiling. Secondly, the refrigerator froze all our food for the entire stay - they could not seem to get it fixed. Lots of other little issues as well. This was a very poor value for the money. We did love Imperial Beach, however.

Owners response: Our attempt to upgrade our appliances seemed to backfire on us. We purchased a new stove, microwave, and refrigerator with the anticipation of increasing our renter's satisfaction. The refrigerator is now fixed and the other appliances are in good working order. I regret that we couldn't get the refrigerator repaired for the last renter. Concerning noise from the unit above us, we were not aware there had been a problem until the renter reported it the day before they moved out. Our HOA has by-laws that address these noise issues and will levy fines for people who violate the by-laws. We will address this with the management of the HOA.

Great place to stay

This was a great place to stay, very quiet (until someone moved in upstairs and took showers at 3.30am) but we were made so welcome and the view is stunning and having the beach so close and in a gated property with a swimming pool and hot tub and BBQ's and the pier only minutes away I would recommend this to anyone coming to San Diago with or without kids ----easy access to the city via the bridge and right on the beach ---perfect location and perfect host thank you Richard for making our holiday perfect ---will hope to return soon

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Owners response: Thank you for the positive review. We are proud of our community in Imperial Beach. It is a small and conscientous group of families. Sometimes we have renters that forget they have neighbors, but usually they are very responsive to requests to remember they have neighbors close by.

Thanks so much Richard and Sandy! Your place was just what we needed in the San Diego area! We would definitely consider staying there again if we go back to the area!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, sight seeing, romantic getaway
