Location, Location, Location.  PORTUGAL COVE: This home is just 7 miles to the St. Johns Airport and approx. 10 miles to the Capitol City of St. Johns.  Beautiful Ocean Front property within walking distance to the Bell Island Ferry.  Watch the whales from your 20 ft. deck or from the comfort of your living room.  Hike up the cliffs in your back yard to pick your own blueberries.  There is a fully equiped kitchen which includes Fridge, Stove, Microwave, cookware and dishes.  The laundry room has a full size Washer and Dryer and all Bedding, bathroom and Kitchen linens are supplied.  Satelite T.V. and a D.V.D. (with a large selection of movies for rainy days) and XBox for the gamer. You won't be disappointed.  No Smoking, (Outside Only)

Great House, close to everything but far away!

Clean, comfortable, well maintained, all the amenities you'll need. Our family stayed in this house for 2 weeks, I would say it's close to perfect! We cooked a lot of our own meals instead of eating out, saved a small fortune. Kitchen is well stocked and ready. You would not want to stay here without a car but the large shopping and nightlife is a short drive away. If you're inclined to check out the nightlife on George Street, the cab ride home is only $35. A short drive from the airport and easy to find. Although it may be rare, we did watch whales in the bay while sitting on the deck! The house is as described, very nice. The kitchen, dining area, bathroom and living room are all ample in size, the bedrooms are small but adequate. I have no problem recommending this property to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while visiting St. John's area. Our friends and family that chose to stay in hotels at the same time were so jealous!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

The best location in St. John's. walking distance to everything and the Signal Hill Trail at your back door.
The view is outstanding, the house very clean and comfortable.
Highly recommended.
