vacation rental description
Inspired by Montana architecture, with rustic stone and log detailing, Sundance at Fern Mountain offers a peaceful and serene mountaintop setting surrounded by forest, and overlooking neighboring horse ranch and pond. Combined with meticulously decorated interiors for ultimate comfort, this home sets itself apart from others.
4,000 SF of fully livable space includes media and game rooms with a 52" TV with Blue Ray Surround Sound, game table and other popular fun activities. Sundance was designed for family gatherings and corporate retreats. Sleeps up to 18 comfortably.
Outdoor entertaining beckons with a large covered deck, hand laid flagstone patio, outdoor fireplace, gas grill and fire-pit for roasting marshmallows and telling stories by the campfire.
Granite countertops, upscale appliances and furnishings, spacious mud/gear room, fine linens and towels, and attention to detail all add to this home's comfort, but it will be the times spent here with family and friends that will make it truly memorable.
Sundance offers close proximity to resorts, a true convenience, but without the noise and traffic. Located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands and Forbes State Forest, a host of recreational pursuits await you from downhill skiing and snowmobiling to fishing in high mountain lakes and white water rafting.
If you're looking to capture the essence of the mountains, the spirit of the outdoors ... and quality time with family and friends, look no further.
Completed in September 2009, Sundance at Fern Mountain is owned by U.S. Recreational Properties and has multiple offerings: one time rentals, Cabin Club (multiple date rentals at a discounted rate)
