Vacation Rental Description

We invite you to vacation on the shores of beautiful Horsehead  
Lake in one of our 2 remodeled, cozy, comfortable cottages located on  
165' of private sandy beach with a great swimming area.  The view of  
the lake and sunset is spectacular!  The 460 acre lake is hospitable  
to all kinds of water useage, but the water traffic is slow during the  
week and usually only moderate on week-ends, which provides for a very  
relaxing atmosphere.  
     The fishing is good for bass and panfish.  The lake also contains  
pike and walleye which are caught by more experienced (or lucky)  
fisherpersons. 
     We have several watercraft to rent, but invite you to bring your  
own. 
     Also, we prefer no smoking in the cottages and no pets.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Each cottage contains: 
     -bathroom with shower 
     -refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster  
     -kitchen stove (one has electric and the other gas) 
     -pots and pans, dishes, dinnerware, and kitchen utensils 
     -Linens and blankets for beds 
     -Towels, washcloths, TP, garbage can and bags 
     -Radio, TV (local channels), and VCR (tape rentals withn 5 miles) 
     -Charcoal grill, picnic or deck table and chairs, and sun  
          umbrella 
     -16" fan 
     -Bonfire pit with firewood 
 
Items shared by cottages: 
     -Dock, beach, and swimming area 
     -Rainy day room with washer, dryer, and freezer 
     -Fish cleaning table 
 
Boats available for rental (upon request): 
     -Fishing boat 
     -Motor 
     -Paddle boat 
     -Canoe 
     -Pontoon

Activities and Attractions

Besides relaxing, fishing, swimming, boating, bonfires, and walks  
through the woods on site, there are the following things to do within  
30 miles: 
     -Many restaurants 
     -Casino 
     -River for tubing 
     -Streams for fishing 
     -Horseback riding  
     -At least 12 golf courses
