Lakefront family home with Mackinac Island-Grand Hotel view in Mackinaw City

3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1280 sq ft, furnished and equipped family home available for quiet getaways. Open kitchen/dining/living room with lake view, and doorwall opening onto large deck. Dishwasher, stack washer and dryer, satellite TV & DVD/VCR. Accommodates 7 comfortably (3 queen beds, 1 full bed). Smoke-free, pet-friendly. This is not a party house, but our cherished, clean, modest, family home.

Relax on the deck/balcony with your morning coffee and watch the sun rise over the lake. Walk along the bay with the shorebirds (our shoreline is wetland-like, but a short stroll out to Charlie's Point gives lake access; see photos). Enjoy a nighttime fire at the fire pit, and the lights of the Grand Hotel across the lake. Just a 5-minute drive to Mackinaw City and boats to Mackinac Island; you can even walk/jog/bike the rails-to-trail into town, or up to 60 miles toward Gaylord. Explore the Island, the U.P.'s Tahquamenon Falls and Soo locks, and nearby lighthouses, shipwrecks, water park, and Mill Creek Discovery Park, with its nature trails, children's play space, rock-climbing wall and zip line!

Weekly rate: $1200 (1 night free on a week-long stay!)

Nightly rate: $200 (4 nights OR $800 minimum) 

Multi-week/monthly/longer-term rate: negotiable

Required: completed, signed rental contract; conditionally-refundable damage deposit; non-refundable advance payments (we typically book during fall/winter for the following spring/summer)

Bring your own: groceries, supplies, toiletries, and bath towels

INCLUDED in rate: sales tax, fresh linens on beds upon arrival, fee for pets, fee for light housecleaning following stay
