This quiet getaway is walking distance from the town of Todd and 20 minutes from Boone and West Jefferson. In the town of Todd you have canoe, raft and bicycle rentals. Fly fishing lessons and of course the historic Todd General Store located only a walking distance away. You might like to visit North Carolina's only cheese factory and sample some of their many varieties of cheese, or tour the Church of the Frescoes in West Jefferson and historic Glendale Springs.
