The Blue Bungalow on Orange Street in Fredericksburg

This original Fredericksburg style bungalow was built in the 1920's by a well known local craftsman as a wedding gift for his bride. It is a true Arts and Crafts style cottage with a lot of  interesting history.  Located 4 blocks for the historic downtown Main Street shopping district and restaurants this bed and breakfast has been used as an inspiring writer's retreat for it's owner and a tranquil respit for many travelers wanting to experience the incredible shopping and remarkable dining our charming town has to offer. Relax in the Master Suite with a king size bed and jetted tub in the Master Bath big enough for two.  There is also a sitting room directly off of the Master Bedroom with a fireplace.  The two additional bedrooms in the front of the house share a bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower..  You can easily rent just the Master Suite for two or the entire bungalow for a weekend gathering with your family and friends.  There is an eat-in kitchen and a formal dining room as well.  Off of the dining room is a 400 sq. ft. covered deck with a wine bar and seating for alfresco dining or just relaxing after a long day site seeing,shopping, touring wineries, hiking or cycling.  We invite you to come experience the charm of The Blue Bungalow on Orange Street, sleep like you've never slept before in this peaceful setting and wake up to the coos of the turtle doves.  A true getaway awaits you!

Within walking distance to historic downtown shopping and dining, withing 5 miles to local wineries for tours and tastings, 15 miles from Enchanted Rock for hiking and rock climbing, 10 miles to horseback riding, 4-10 miles to golf courses such as the well-renowned Boot Ranch, cycling and picnicing in Pedernales State Park and inter-tubing down th river in Blanco Blanco.

The rates listed above are for double occupancy for the Master Suite only.  The nightly rate for Sunday through Thursday nights is $125 and Friday and Saturday nights the nightly rate is $145.  There is a per person per night charge of $30 for each guest in addition to the first two.  So, for example, the rate for 6 guests on a Saturday night would be $145 plus $120 (4x$30) for a total of $265.  This comes out to a rate breakdown of $44.17 per person per night!
