The deck projects out beyond the edge of the house giving you amazing views in all directions.

The Cliff House does not have a television, but if you would still like to keep in touch with the rest of the world, you can relax knowing our free wi-fi will keep you connected.

Creede is the county seat and only town in Mineral County, which is mostly National Forest. There are hundreds of miles of hiking, biking and horse trails within easy reach, and the fishing in the Rio Grande and its tributaries is truly world-class.

Creede is home to the national award-winning Creede Repertory Theater, which puts on a wonderful selection of classic and new plays and musicals during the summer. Boomtown, their improv comedy show is sold out every Friday night during the season.

Many artists have shops in town that showcase beautiful works in a variety of media, and there are multiple shops that await the casual browser, including an Orvis shop and San Juan Sports, which caters to the outdoor crowd.

In the fall, Creede is a destination for folks looking for a great spot to view the changing aspens, and in winter you're less than an hour from Wolf Creek Ski area, which regularly boasts the most snow in the state.
