About Our Unit

Wake each morning to the calming sounds of waves and peaceful views of the Pacific Ocean.  This luxurious two-bedroom/two bathroom condo is new to the rental market and is gorgeous.  It is a beachfront corner unit half-way up the Coronado Shores Las Palmas tower which affords full ocean and beach views from each bedroom, the kitchen, and the living room/dining room.  In addition to beach and ocean views from Point Loma to Mexico, there are also views of the four Coronado Shores pools, the Glorietta Bay Marina, the golf course, and a skyline view of San Diego.  On clear days, you look directly at the Mexican islands The Coronados.  Because of our condo's spectacular location, there is only part of one room where you can see another building.  The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows are tinted, which limit others from seeing inside and protect the unit from the sun.  It was designed in the Feng Shui style, which maximizes space and energy and has a feeling of casual elegance.

The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with tilting headrests, flat-screen TV, computer work center, huge cedar-lined walk-in closet, and a luxurious bathroom which includes a walk-in shower with both regular and hand-held showerheads.  The guest bedroom includes two twin-size beds that can be easily converted to a king with a provided kit.  The guest bedroom closet has mirrored doors and is lined with cedar.  The guest bathroom is across the hall, has both a shower and jacuzzi tub, and also contains a stacked clothes washer and dryer.  

The living room/dining room has a large L-shaped sofa, two comfortable chairs, an entertainment center with TV, DVD/CD and stereo, and a glass-topped dining table with seating for six. 

The gourmet kitchen is fully-stocked and has granite countertops, Dacor convection oven and glass ceramic electric cooktop stove, built-in GE microwave oven, Miele dishwasher, and Sub-Zero refrigerator with two freezer drawers including ice maker.  We offer many specialty kitchen items like two blenders, Cuisinart food processor, pressure cooker, salad spinner, vertical chicken roaster . . . the list goes on.  The kitchen also has a breakfast bar floating on the window wall, which is the perfect place to watch for playful dolphins and sea lions.

Additional in-unit amenities include push-button motorized sunscreen roller shades and drapes, push-button motorized black-out shades in the bedrooms, waterwall water feature in the entry, wi-fi internet access, HP print/fax/scan/copy machine, and two small balconies.  We also have an in-unit library and numerous games, beach chairs, umbrella, rolling cooler, beach toys, two tennis racquets and tennis balls for your total enjoyment.  Our unit comes with one assigned indoor parking space.

The Coronado Shores Complex

The Coronado Shores complex comprises guarded/gated entry, 24-hour roaming security, 24-hour doorperson in the lobby, four beachfront pool areas with spas, gas barbeques and outdoor tables and seating, eight tennis courts, a fully-staffed fitness center including saunas and spas, and a recreational clubhouse with pool tables, table tennis, big-screen TV, bar, outdoor veranda, and organized events including live music and games.  There is also a Pavillion available for private parties and events for rental at an additional charge.  All buildings and recreation areas are wheelchair accessible. 

Coronado Beach

The Coronado Beach was recently named by the Travel Channel as the number one family beach and the number two beach in the U.S.  Beach and ocean activities include walking, running, sunbathing, swimming, fishing, boogie boarding, surfing, paddle boarding, and kite surfing.  Rentals and lessons are locally available.  The fully-staffed lifeguard station on Coronado Beach provides free usage of manual and electric beach wheelchairs.  A couple minutes walk along the beach path will bring you to the world-renowned Hotel Del Coronado, which has shops and restaurants as well as weekly live music in their bar and outdoors on their sun deck. 

 City of Coronado

The entire City of Coronado is within walking distance and offers a wide range of restaurants and bars, shopping, grocery stores, pharmacies, spas, parks, a beautiful library, bicycle trails and rentals, surrey rentals, Coronado Playhouse and Lambs Players Theatre, an 18-hole golf course, a municipal recreation center, a skate park, and free concerts in the park during the summer.  The Glorietta Bay Marina is right across the street from the Coronado Shores complex and offers jetski, paddleboat, kayak, sailboat, and powerboat rentals and excursions.

 City of San Diego and Beyond

The City of San Diego is accessible by either car or via ferry across the San Diego Bay.  The pleasant San Diego Airport (SAN) is a ten minute drive over the Coronado Bridge and is an inexpensive taxi ride away.  The San Diego area offers a plethora of activities, some of which include the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, the Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park, Cabrillo National Monument, Old Town, the Gas Lamp Quarter, Old Globe Theater, Sea Port Village, Legoland, the aircraft carrier Midway, Scripps Birch Aquarium, and numerous museums and exhibits.  There are multiple professional sports events offered including the San Diego Padres and the San Diego Chargers.  Mexico is accessible either by the San Diego Trolley or a short drive.  There are numerous casinos available in the surrounding areas, and Disneyland, Orange and Los Angeles counties are a straightforward drive north. 

Per city ordinance, there is a one-month minimum rental.
