Loving our place :)

Review submitted: March 23, 2011   Date of arrival: March 1, 2011

Hi Abdul,

Our vacation so far has been extraordinary. From the moment we took possession of Las Palmas unit #804 we have felt thrilled with all the possibilities that make up the sum total of the view we see outside our floor to ceiling windows! It’s just so much more than we had hoped for and we thank you for helping us find this rental. Your gorgeous photos actually don’t do it justice… it’s that spectacular! :)

Our days are quite relaxed…from the moment Galen and I go to bed or wake up in the master bedroom each morning…the floor to ceiling window facing the ocean calls to us with sound. We keep the windows open all night and are drugged into a deep, restful sleep of “white noise” from the ocean surf below. As we stir in the morning, we poke our heads up and look out at the ocean and grin at each other…it’s like a present waiting to be opened! It may start out a little foggy or be bright and clear, but it is already active with surfers and folks walking the beach. It’s breathtaking!

Often, dolphins gather at the waves edge, seeming to love the interaction with the surfers. They hover and wait patiently to catch a wave with them. The first time we witnessed this we just simply couldn’t believe what we’d seen! If we’re lucky, we catch the Navy Seals making their morning run on the beach.
As each morning progresses the weather grows warmer…we’ve been here 2 weeks already and have not had a bad weather day in the bunch. So each morning we find ourselves delighted with the thought of another full day of outrageously beautiful weather and surroundings! It’s simply lovely to enjoy the early morning view and slowly make our way into the day. What sheer joy it is not to feel hurried or rushed in any way. Work can wait, we’re on vacation!!

As we wait for our sunset, we also enjoy the Navy planes (of all varieties) make their final approach right over our heads to the Naval Base, what a sight to behold!! It’s as if each experience we encounter in Coronado is in 3-D living color…almost bigger than life… and a memory in the making. We packing them in and storing them away to take home to Seattle!

And the evenings…oh so much color and twinkling lights…it’s a whole new world to take in before we head off to bed, open our window, and settle in for another restful night.

We look forward to our last two weeks…and wish we could stay longer. We’ll definitely be back!

Rosie

Mr. Kassir:
As my wife, Mary Anne, and I prepare to depart for home I wanted to give you our thoughts on unit 804 at Las Palmas.
When you rent, or purchase, something on the Internet you are apprehensive
until you have possession. Too often literary license comes into play. In this case we were delighted!
All the rooms have views that were beyond our hopes. The living room, and all other rooms have spectacular ocean views to the west, with the northern windows presenting the marina and city skyline.
The furnishings are both comfortable and attractive. Additionally, the unit was in beautiful condition upon our arrival. Your scheduled cleaning service was a nice surprise.
We were continually surprised at the amount of supplies you and the owner
had on hand. We are still finding new things.
Lastly, and second only to the view in importance, you, your firm, and the owner
were so helpful, prompt, cooperative with our requests it was a very real pleasure to
contact you.
We sincerely are looking forward to return next winter for a longer stay.
Again, thank you,
Bill
