A pleasant and relaxing stay

My boyfriend and I spent three weeks in this house and were genuinely sad to leave it. It had everything we needed for a relaxing Mexican vacation.

Erik, the owner, provided excellent customer service. He was always quick in his responses, and he takes the house's upkeep seriously. (e.g. There was an unusually large rain that created some minor leaks; he had roofers fixing it that week.)

The house is down a quiet, dirt road and is within walking distance to a few restaurants/bars and convenience stores.

I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Recommended for: age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway

Owners response: I'd like to thank this couple for getting the home hooked up with Internet access in exchange for additional days of stay. Many of my renters and potential renters have asked if I provide this service in the home. While I hope you take time away from your computer to enjoy everything Rocky Point has to offer, I realize it is important be able to stay in touch with the modern world or just have access to the wealth of information the Internet offers. For those of you on the fence about renting, this is one more great thing about the home that will hopefully sway you.

Great house for the price!

If you're going to Rocky Point on a budget, this is the place! Not on the beach, but a newer home, in a nice neighborhood in a great location. Great restaurants (Capones, Manny's, Hacienda Las Fuentes) nearby and a secluded beach just about a half mile walk down the road.

This is a little gem of a place and I hate to let people know about it, but I was so pleased with my stay that I had to write about it. Key pickup is convenient, with property manager Dee just a mile from the house. The house had everything you could need: Great A/C, good water pressure, towels, dishes, silveware, utensils, washer/dryer, extra sheets, tv and movies. Secure, gated parking in the front of the house.

The friendly neighborhood dogs love to stop by and hang out. One morning, they followed me to the beach and we all had a great time splashing around in the water.

The house is centrally located between Old Town and Las Conchas, so everything that is Rocky Point is within a short drive or even walk.

Overall, just a great, relaxing place to spend some time getting to know Rocky Point like a local.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway
