Pelican Harbour in Longboat Key

This is a recently updated condo on the second floor with great views of Sarasota Bay and with direct access across the street from the beach.  This is a beach to bay complex with beach access, attractive pool area with newly updated paving and shade  area and new outdoor furniture.  Tennis courts, boat docks, fishing dock also are available.  The unit has wood and tile floors, recent appliances, granite countertops, an open floor plan with neutral decor. There is a king-size master bedroom with bathroom ; the second bedroom has a day bed with trundle pull out, the living room couch opens to a queen-size bed.     Pets are not permitted, and smoking in the unit not permitted.  One covered parking space assigned.

Tennis, fishing, boating, beach, walk to Catholic Church, bike rental. There are a number of fine restaurants on the Island. Also, a 12-mile side-walk traverses the  entire island, trolley to Sarasota, St Armand's Circle, and Anna Maria Island hourly, Large Supermarket and Drug store a mile away, boat rental and bait store 2.5 miles.

Sarasota has many restaurants, movies, theater, Symphony concerts, opera.   Mote Marine is 5 miles away, Marina Jacks and Sarasota bayfront is 10 miles. Sarasota airport is about 15 miles distant. St Armand's Circle is renowned for upscale shopping and fine restaurants. Lido and Siesta Keys are close byTampa airport is 75 minutes drive. Longboat Key has a public tennis center with coaching and equipment available.  There are two golf courses on the island.

Rates are for the  season, January thru April, 2011.  Discounts available for multi-month rentals. $2500 per month for May-Dec 2011.
