Affordable South Beach Ocean View in Miami Beach

For your attention is a privately owned room in the famous Shelborne Condo-Hotel, located in the heart of South Beach. It has a magnificent view of the ocean and the legendary pool of The Raleigh Hotel.
The room is equipped with two queen beds, walk-in closet, cable TV, DVD, CD, A/C with climate control and wireless high speed internet.
The room has a kitchenette with full fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, juicer, toaster and utensils.

For your convinience and comfort our room is equipped with good quality linens, towels, beach towels, iron, board and hair dryer.

Shelborne amenities are: night club, bar, restaurant, fitness gym, pool, concierge service, direct access to the beach and etc. There is a bar and a restaurant right by the pool with two giant hot tubs on one side, and quiet lawn on the other side, with private exit right to the beach.

Condo-Hotel means that every room in hotel belongs to a private owner. Some owners rent their units through Hotel Management. Those rooms are cared by hotel and have daily maide service. These rooms are the most expensive up to $550/nt for the room identical to ours. To rent those rooms you have to call Shelborne reservation. Some owners rent their rooms via third party, people posing themselves as hotel reservation service. Price is little better than hotel but no daily maid service. The rest of owners, like us, rent their rooms directly to guests.

Our room is clasified as "ocean view" and all pictures, where you can see ocean and The Raleigh pool, are made from our room window. We did not feel appropriate to post professional pictures from internet, so all pictures on this listing are made by room owner. Sorry if quality is not the best.

Area Description

Although the hotel is located on a busy avenue, where life is so active that all entertainments and stores are still open at 4 AM of the night, and lots of tourists on the go, this room is on the ocean side, and all you can hear is the ocean tide.

There is also a long paved walk way along the beach behind the hotel for runners, bikers and roller skaters.

This Hotel is located in the hottest area of South Beach on Collins Avenue in line with many other famous hotels like Delano, Raleigh, Setai, Ritz-Carlton and etc.
Art Deco District, Versaci building, Espaniola way, Convention Center, Lincoln Rd are just couple of blocks away.

Street parking with coin or C/C operated meters free from 12PM TO 9AM, and inexpensive parking lot in one block from hotel.

Mike always answered when I called. Everything worked out great. Carlos who works at the hotel meets you and lets you in as soon as you arrive. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Great location, great place, great attention, June 22, 2009 By Anna (NY, NY) I had rented this studio at the last moment. It took me three days to make decision (cracking the owner's head over the phone with hundreds of question) and three minutes to make a reservation. After such patience and attention from the owner, I was double surprized to find very good studio, very clean and with real ocean behind a window (I expected it to be just a lure). A restaurant in hotel is OK, however Lincoln Rd. or Espaniola way are just in few minutes of walk. On the other hand hotel's cafe is right by the pool and hot tubs. Overall it is just great. Thank you Mike. We'll come again.   

Very good experience, June 3, 2009 By Jacky (NY,NY) A booking process was very simple and convenient. Owner was very pleasant and honest. A vew from the room window as described in the ad. Our friends had a room on the street side of the hotel. That was a disaster, especially during a night. They hadto sleep in our room. Our room was clean, fresh and had all we needed for vacation, even beach towels and bamboo beach mats. Highly recommend this room and owner.

Great Little Condo on South Beach, May 28, 2009 By Kimberly Worthy (Atlanta, GA USA) I have stayed in several privately owned condos on South Beach but this one was more affordable, cleaner and and just overall nicer. The owner stayed in constant contact and always returned phone calls and email promptly. My deposit was also returned immediately at the end of my stay. This condo is right on the beach and in the heart of everthing going on between Ocean Drive and Collins Ave. I highly recommend the great little condo on South Beach.   

Very Good Experience, April 14, 2009 By Oxana (Orlando, FL USA) My boyfriend and I stayed at this property for 2 nights. The hotel has mixed reviews because the rooms are so different. Well, this one was very clean, not shabby at all, small but cozy. The hotel lobby was recently renovated, looked nice. Location is great too, the hotel is on the beach, walking distance to anything. Not exactly beachfront but you can see the ocean out of the window. The owner is great, replied to all the messages very promptly, everything exactly as described, I would definitely deal with him again. Great deal for the money.
