Secluded Beachfront One Bedroom Apartment with Pool

Casa de Gracia is on the beautiful secluded stretch of beach just south of Puerto Morelos.  The upstairs apartment has a living-dining area with kitchen and table for four, connecting to a small private oceanfront balcony with palapa roof overlooking the pool.  The bedroom has a small oceanfront balcony as well.  Sounds of the waves will put you to sleep at night, and the sunrises are spectacular.  The bath has a large tiled walk-in shower.  The sofa converts into a full bed.  Within twenty-five minutes you can be at the Cancun airport, Cancun resort area, or Playa del Carmen.  Within five minutes you can get to a local grocery, ATM, Internet Cafe, seafood market or local dining.

We are eco friendly and run on wind power.  The ever present ocean breezes make it hardly ever necessary to use the back-up batteries that are continuously charged for that purpose.   We have maid service twice a week and there are no additional fees for this service.

This is a great place to do nothing but relax by the pool or swim in the ocean, but many other things are close.  You can take long walks on the beach either direction.  South will lead you to a point around which is a great snorkeling bay with protected reef.  North will take you to El Cid Marina in which sailboats and other boats will be docked.  The town of Puerto Morelos has many different dining options that will fit any budget.  When you walk to the pier you will find town folk that will take you out snorkeling in the protected Marine Park or deep sea fishing.  The swiming in town is excellent with soft sand and fish in the water.  Other activities such as horseback riding, paragliding, wind surfing, and scuba diving are nearby.  The mangroves behing the beach area attract wildlife and birds.

If you want to wander further the Mayan Ruins of Tulum, Chichen Itza, and Coba are all good for day trips.  Xcaret, Xelha, and Puerto Adventuras are within easy driving distances also.  There are also many good cenotes around.

Low season:  mid May through mid December

Low season rates:  nightly $115 (3 night minimum); weekly $690

High season:  mid December through mid May

High season rates:  nightly $150 (3 night minimum); weekly $900

Holidays:  a week that contains either Christmas or New Years

Holiday rate:  weekly $1200 (weekly minimum)

30% down reserves the rental with the full amount due one month prior to arrival.

There is a $200 security deposit due at the time of inital downpayment that is refunded within two weeks of your stay if there is no damage to the unit.
