Rise to the sound of the loons and the sun glimmering on the lake, welcoming you to a day of adventure or relaxation.
You’ll be very happy in this home on beautiful and quiet North Pond in Norway, Maine. It offers the right mix of creature comforts on an unspoiled Maine lake with views that include a ring of mountains. Graceful North Pond offers excellent swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Loons, osprey, blue herons, turtles, and our resident eagle make your stay more memorable. Tranquility, yet only ten minutes from the marina and public boat launch of famed Lake Pennesseewassee.
Fall is for Foliage & Harvest Fairs & Reading a book outdoors, in the hammock or lounge chair, warmed by the sun. The kayaks are on the water, the wood is stacked, and pumpkin pies are perfect.
Winter and Spring offer world-class downhill and cross country skiing at Sunday River Ski Resort as well as family-friendly Mt Abram. Norway is the Snowshoe Capital of the World, so ours are at the backdoor waiting for you. The lake is in your backyard so bring your skates, your ice traps, and your x-country skis. Snow mobile trails canvas the area.
Just 2 ½ hours from Boston, you’ll enjoy this vacation home in all four glorious seasons. Windows, skylights, and a cathedral ceiling brighten with natural light, three sets of sliders connect to the outdoors, the open floor plan encourages family living, and bedrooms all have lake or woodland views. The house centers on a cozy wood stove, 2 decks, and a wonderful screened porch overlooking the lake. The house is just 70 feet from the shoreline and private dock.
Dining is easy whether you grill on the deck, picnic at the water’s edge, open a bottle of wine on the screened in porch, or set the indoor table for 8. You’ll find everything you need in the fully stocked kitchen.

3 Bedrooms + Loft: A King with private deck overlooking the lake, A Queen Bedroom on the first level has woodland views, the Bunk room has double-sized beds, the fun sleeping loft has 2 twin beds. A futon on the landing is available for napping in the sun.
Enjoy the comfortable sofa and loveseat, cushy chairs by the fire, 27” flat screen cable TV, DVD/VCR with 50+ movies, Stereo with iPod hookup, games, puzzles, and Wireless Internet. There’s even Pool and Foosball.
Dock with 2 kayaks, a canoe, and rowboat are available for your use.
The fully stocked kitchen includes DW, Microwave, Toaster Oven, Coffee maker, Electric Oven and Range, Lobster Pot, blender, and more.

Summer activities include swimming and fishing off the dock, boating, sailing, excellent hiking, wildlife viewing, skiing, tubing, cycling, tennis, golf, and more. Renters are welcome to use our kayaks, canoe, and rowboat.
Fall activities include all of that, plus spectacular foliage and mountain views, harvest fairs, festivals and apple picking. & Reading a book outdoors, in the hammock or lounge chair, warmed by the sun. The kayaks are on the water and the wood is stacked.
