Our home is at Village des Pins, also known as Timberwoods. We are a friendly community of 112 privately owned villas set in 25 acres of pine trees and lush green landscaping.
We enjoy ease of access to all routes. We are five minutes from one of the best beaches in the US at Siesta Key, with its white powdery sands. We are within walking distance of Sarasota Square Mall with its many shops and cinema complex. There are said to be 30 championship golf courses in the area. Add fine restaurants and the many other eating venues, a variety of cultural attractions, local national parks and everything else this part of Florida has to offer and you have all the elements of a great vacation. There really is something for everyone throughout the year.
Disney, Universal and the many other Orlando attractions are approximately two hours drive away and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is approximately an hours drive.
The villa is approximately 1450 sq-feet and is nicely furnished, comprising of a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, a large lounge and dining room with a sofa bed in the lounge, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Washer/dryer, cable TV, 46" TV, 2nd small TV for bedroom, VCR and DVD. phone and wireless Internet, screened Lanai which has a great view over the lake.
There is a large heated pool and spa, two tennnis courts, barnecue and picnic area.
