The property is part of a unique private colony. It enjoys both sunrises and sunsets with spectacular water views on both sides. The Dining Hall serves fabulous food 4 nights a week along with Sunday Brunch (a Dining Hall minimum is required). It has a beautiful in-ground pool, clay tennis court, playground with new equipment, and plenty of lovely grounds to enjoy. It is walking distance to the beach for sunning, shell collecting, or kayaking, the town dock for boating or fishing, and a Rec Hall for kids with pool table. You would never have to leave the pennisula but if you should need to go to town it is an easy 20 minute drive.

Harpswell is conveniently located near Portland with many great restaurants and shops, Freeport...the home of L.L.Bean, Bar Harbor, Acadia Nat'l Park, and Popham Beach....the most spectacular stretch of sandy beach in Maine.

Tennis court, pool, kayaking, boating, fishing, exploring, biking, hiking > Harpswell's rural landscapes lead right down to the rocky Maine coast. Lobster, mussels, and clams right off the fisherman's wharf just a 5 minute walk away, right next to the beach area.
