Our family has been lucky enough to travel quite a bit around the Carribean & Central America-Villa Dos Loros is a gem. The front sea view, just steps away, is in turn georgeous, soothing, beautiful and wreathed in rioteous sunset colors. As a professional artist, I came to Cozumel with a fairly critical eye-there is beauty to behold and enjoy all over the island. Yes, it can be crazy when several cruise ships are in; but Villa Dos Loros is enough removed from the downtown to be peaceful & calm no matter what. Judy is a great owner and very friendly. The house has all you need to relax-my oldest son cooked up a killer meal in the well-equipped kitchen for six family members to celebrate I and my wifes' 27th wedding anniversary! The pool is wonderful with ammenities even for small children. Jacuzzy nights under a blanket of stars you could pluck out of the heavens they seem so close! We spent several nights at the end of our pier watching dozens of small squid flourese and feed on the bait fish while the bigger ones darted in to snap up the squid-natures light show! Iguannas sunning on the seawall and frgate birds against the morning sky...Great and friendly staff, our own parking spot, and beautiful grounds. All in all this was one of the best times we have had in many,many years of traveling and living in Latin America. Period.

A Wonderful Week!

Our family, ages 9 months to 59 years old, had a mini reunion at Villa Dos Loros. Judith, the owner was very helpful. She provided a thorough tour of her home upon our arrival. She also had groceries that we requested in the house so that we didn't need to go shopping immediately after our long trip. The home was well equipped with all that we needed and spotlessly clean. We especially appreciated the 3 1/2 baths, and the washer/dryer. The beds for the adults were very comfortable and had high quality linens along with lots of pillows. The crib was a play pen with a bottom mat that didn't quite fit securely around all of the edges. Although we put a blanket over the mat, I would recommend bringing a pack 'n play if you have an infant. The snorkeling out front was great! We saw parrot fish, angel fish, a lion fish, a stingray, and a barracuda that guarded a school of large silver fish that seemed to stay in the area. The swimming pools were perfect for the younger ones. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, especially on starlit nights! Our favorite activities were snorkeling - especially at Playa Azul and Play Corona, swimming with the dolphins at Chankanaab Park, boogie boarding on the other side of the island (Judith provided two boogie boards), and just "hanging out" in front of the villa! The sunsets were stunning, so we often spent evenings relaxing in lounge chairs on the beach just in front of the villa! There were not many people in the houses around us, so it was always quiet and peaceful. The neighbors that we did meet were very friendly. We always felt welcomed and safe. The history/art museum in town, that included a Mayan hut, was interesting for the whole family. We also enjoyed dining out a few times. We chose restaurants recommended in Trip Advisor. Be sure to visit Chocolateria isla bella for amazing chocolates! The owner of the shop also referred us to some great beaches for snorkeling. We returned home with many happy memories of our week in sunny Cozumel, including a wonderful church service on Easter morning at a church that Judith had recommended. Thank you, Judith, for sharing your lovely home and community on the ocean with our family! We will highly recommend Villa Dos Loros to our friends!

Absolutely perfect home for a fantastic stay!

I cannot say enough great things about our experience at Villa Dos Loros!!! My family and extended family travels to Cozumel every year after Christmas and this was our first year of having the great fortune of finding and staying in this gem! The views each morning overlooking the ocean are priceless. The house suited all of our needs and we were pleased with the size of each of the rooms. We really appreciated this home was all on one level as it made it perfect for smaller children.

We woke up every morning to the most gorgeous sunrises and then proceeded to grab our snorkel gear and swim right out to the nearby reefs. The pool and baby pool were perfect and we could not have enjoyed them more if we tried. Usually when we are in Cozumel, we head out to local beaches each day. That was not necessary this year as we had everything we needed right outside our patio door. Our local dive master (Hernan Bacelis) was even able to pick us up at the handy pier.

Judy was helpful, responsive and knowledgeable and couldn't have made a better host. Our only change for next time will be to take her up on the food service which seems extremely reasonably priced. My family is already looking at dates to book next year and we cannot wait!!!! Perfect, perfect, perfect! Thanks again Judy!
