City of Chicago Vacation Rental License # 2083729 Writers' Retreat is an immaculate two bedroom apartment less than a mile from Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs. Located in a charming four unit building in a quiet, historic, residential Chicago neighborhood. It is just down the street from the Brown Line train stop connecting downtown, the Loop and other parts of Chicago, like McCormick Place, Navy Pier, Chicago Art Institute, Adler Planetarium. Not far from the Addison stop on the Blue Line, which runs to O'Hare Airport and the bus stop, getting to the Lake front and other parts of the City is no problem. We are very pet and family friendly. We're happy to help you decide on activities and locate places that will make your trip fabulous. This apartment is within walking distance of Trader Joe's, Martyr's, Expresso Yourself, the Globe Pub and Chicago Joe's. Within 5-10 minute drive of Loyloa University, Strabucks, Easy Rider Bike Shop.

The decor of Writers' Retreat focuses on the history of Chicago and its literary heritage. The master bedroom offers a queen bedroom and two twin beds. The Bradbury room provides a queen bed.
We are pet friendly and welcome everyone in the family. All the streets in this quiet neighborhood have mature trees and nice landscaping making it a great place to take walks. Parking directly in front of the building is free with plenty of spaces always available (unbeliveable, but true).
