         Its shore location provides excellent views of a beautiful expansive ocean side lake on one side and a the special night music which comes from subtopical marsh in the distance, and the sound of the breaking surf just 500 feet away over the dunes.

        Within the Oyster Catcher Community there is a private pool and spa and the Litchfield by the Sea community offers within walking distance: day/night tennis, ocean front beaches, walking paths, health clubs, lake and shore fishing, restaurants, bar, Starbucks, etc..

        Beyond the gates of the Litchfield community, you will find Pawleys Island with distinctly southern restaurants, friendly people, multiple golf courses, shopping, and sight seeing.
        Up Route 17, a drivable distance away(15 Miles) from quiet Pawleys Island you will find all that Myrtle Beach is known for and can offer. All sorts of fun and fast action for all ages. for me at least, at the end of the day, its just nice that you can come home to Oyster Catcher Retreat and enjoy just the sounds of nature if you want.
        Down route 17 you will find historic Georgetown and Charleston
SC, always filled with days of adventure and history.
