Coastal Hideaway Cottage in Port Lavaca

Olivia Texas is a dream for wild-life enthusiasts. Is ideal for bird watchers, winter Texans, fishing or just to enjoy and relax.

Come and stay in this cottage and surround yourself with woodlands, wetlands and coastal waters.

The Cottage is located at Olivia, a small community 15 miles from Port Lavaca, Texas. The road leading to Olivia (HWY 172) ends in Olivia at Keller Bay, so there is not a lot of traffic, just peace and quiet.

Olivia is located at the end of HWY 172, off HWY 35 between Port Lavaca and Palacios, 20 minutes from both cities.

The Cottage has two bedrooms with a full size bed, a sofa bed in the living room, and a full kitchen. All linens, towels and utensils are provided.

The inside of the cottage has just been painted and we are currently working on improvements to the outside. But is ready to go! The place is sound and has withstood very strong storms. So, take advantage now of our reduced rates.

Olivia Haterius park is rock trowing distance from the house (showed in the picture).

If you are an early bird start your day with a wonderful sunrise, or let the sound of the birds wake you up every morning.

Catch the dolphins hunting their food in shallow water as well as the many migrating birds, and a great number of permanent feathered friends.

You can also enjoy the sounds of the howling coyotes in the near distance. Gaze at the many stars in the clear sky, after marveling at the beautiful sunset.
