Deland is located in Central Florida between Daytona and Orlando (20 minutes from Daytona Speedway and 50 minutes from Disney World)

There are 6 golf courses within 5 miles. City Tennis courts nearby.

Downtown Deland is very quaint and minutes away with many shops and restaurants. It is the home of Stetson University, the oldest Private University in Florida and hosts both (Winter/Spring) basketball and baseball just minutes away in their beautiful stadiums.

Major attractions near-by are:   Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Blue Springs State Park (winter home of the manitees), Deleon Springs State Park,  St. John's River, Ocala National Forest Preseerves.  Beaches; New Smyrna Beach and Daytona's World's Most Famous Beach. Plus Kennedy Space Center and St. Augustine (the oldest city in America). Jackie Robinson Stadium home of the Daytona Cubs.

There are cultural events, some hosted by Stetson University, music festivals, farmers markets, and art fairs here in Deland.
