Live on Lyon's UNESCO protected peninsula in Lyon

Our 900sq/ft apartment is full of light, with a view of the river Saone, and is located on the first floor (one flight of steps) in a protected buiding with inner courtyard/garden. The front door has a digicode. The entrance door of the apartment has a security lock.

The apartment has 2 exposures, large windows, high ceilings with 3 skylights, exposed beams and a lot of privacy (no one living above nor under the apartment.

The area is lively with antique shops, craft shops and a farmer market at the end of the street several times a week, a pedestrian street (Rue Victor Hugo), four blocks away, takes you in 5 mn to a large square (Place Bellecour) at the center  of the City. Lots of delicious restaurants, boulangeries, patisseries, butcher shops, supermarkets in the street and at short walking distance. The train station, trolley station, metro station and bus stations are all at very short walking distance. Also private schools, doctors, dentists, hairdressers at short walking distance. 

One large master bedroom with a wall of closets. Another bedroom with a desk. The third room (with a door is arranged as a living room and is very large, but it has a sleeping sofa and lots of built in closets.

The kitchen is very well equipped, has 2 skylights (remote control opening) and a breakfast table with a bench.  It opens on the dining room which has a huge skylight (also operable electrically with a shade for hot summer days).

The bathroom has a tub and also a washer and a dryer. The toilets are separate and have a lavabo (sink).

The hallway has a mezzanine with built in storage (your own attic for suitcases and the things in the house that you would rather not use (if any). If you want to bring your own furniture, we are flexible as we have a large storage underneath the apartment.

Everything you find in a large urban center. The proximity of all means of transportation makes living in Lyon without a car an effortless experience.

Righr off the street, there is a Roman style basilica whic offers concerts year around and outdoor movies and plays during the summer.

The "Musee des Tissus" a few blocks away is really interesting as Lyon was the silk capital in France for many centuries.

The "Old Lyon" has been completely restored and is an example of the 16th Century Renaissance architecture.

The two rivers have boardwalks which are very popular and romantic.

This rate includes  utilities, heating, wireless internet, cable TV, free phone calls most everywhere in the world, final cleaning/laundering andthe assistance of the manager on site.

We  have a 1 month minimum stay policy. Exceptionally, for special events, we will rent by week or by day (5 days minimum).
