Jekyll Beach in Jekyll Island

Large home located across the street from the beach.  Large enough for the whole family, but convenient enough for two, this property features a living room (with sleeper sofa), dining room, den, sun room, 3 bedrooms (one king, one queen, and two twin beds), 2 baths, plus kitchen and laundry room with door to back patio with outside shower.  The single car garage features a refrigerator for drinks and room for bikes (not included) to ride on the bike trails available in front of the home.  There is a wooden crossover to the beach, and since the Jekyll's beach is contingent on tide, this is probably as far north as you want to go on the island for beach walking, shelling, fishing, etc.

Home offers wi-fi, gas grill, picnic table in back yard, and 3 separate and private living areas for family games and enjoyment.

The home has easy beach access over a wooden crossover, which is a very private beach most of the time.  Beach access is contingent upon the tide, so you might want to check the local tide chart for best beaching.  Shells are frequently found, and fishing, wind surfing, swimming, and building sand castles is literally just a steps away!  The area has miles of bike trails, a historic area, a water park, public golf course, horseback riding, and kayaking to name a few activities.  Jekyll Island is located about 1/2 way between Savannah, GA and Jacksonville, FL (Jacksonville airport less than 1 hour).

Through May 5, 2012 - $950/week - $175 night - $2,200 month
May 4 - June 2 and Aug. 4 - Sept. 1, 2012 - $1,150/week .. $200 night
June 2 - Aug 4 -  (Sat. - Sat.) $1,400 per week
13% sales tax must be added to all stays up to 31 days; 8% for 31 - 90 days.
A non-refundable $100 cleaning fee is added to each stay.
50% deposit at time of scheduling.  One-half deposit is refundable up to
30 days before check in, when deposit becomes non-refundable.
