Scenic Stone Gate House on Private Lake in Fishkill

Stone Gate House, built in 1928, is located on a 100 acre private
estate.

Cottage has 18 inch thick solid stone walls and a slate roof. It was
recently renovated with a wonderful modern cathedral ceiling kitchen,
and new furnishings. There is a loft area which serves as 2nd sitting
room and sleeping area. The living room has a stone fireplace,
ceiling fan, and cathedral ceiling. The gate house sits on a knoll
overlooking the beautiful lake with mowed lawns down the gentle slope
to the lake. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, listen to the birds, or stroll
the grounds. You will feel like you are many miles from
everywhere, yet only minutes to restaurants, movies, stores.

Bedroom 1 has King bed, Bedroom 2 has Twins. Loft has queen futon.

1 1/2 hours north of NYC. Eight minutes from Metro North; ten minutes
from the Taconic Parkway via I84. We are just 10 minutes north of
Cold Spring, and 10 minutes east of the new Dia Museum. Centrally
located to many other Hudson Valley attractions; West Point, Storm
King, Millbrook, and Hyde Park.

Refrigerator stocking available.

Reservation deposit required. Cancellation fee, if within 30 days of
rental period.

A no-smoking building.

Five acre lake available for fishing, swimming, canoeing. There is a
dock for fishing, a swimming platform, and rowboat and paddleboat
available to use. Also numerous hiking trails, and lawn games.

Easy access to Rt. 9 and I84 for all historic area attractions, from
West Point to Hyde Park Mansions.

Summer rates start June 1 $1000-$1200/week, depending on occupancy.

Monthly, seasonal rate available on request.
