Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve (CCP) is located north central Lee County in North Fort Myers on the northern shoreline of the Caloosahatchee river. It is cut approximately in half by Interstate 75.
CCP East and CCP West are both open to the public with park facilities that opened in May of 2008.
On the eastern side, visitors can use the paved parking area, picnic pavilions, restroom, and the approximately 1.5 mile long boardwalk and trail system through hammock and pine flatwoods.
Visitors to the western side of the preserve also have access to the paved parking area, restroom, picnic pavilion, and approximately 1/2 mile of boardwalk and trails. In addition, the west side offers a canoe and kayak launch into Popash Creek. Visitors who bring their own canoe or kayak can take a relaxing paddle down the creek which leads out into the Caloosahatchee River.
On-leash dogs are allowed on the trails and the parking areas of both the East and West sides of Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve.

Chickee, amphitheater, and picnic shelter rental available May through October on Saturdays and Sundays only, and may be reserved in advance with 72 hour notice by registering on line at WebTrac. Optimum viewing times are between the months of November and March due to the cooler gulf temperature. Manatee Park is a non-captive refuge for the Florida Manatee. Manatees are generally not present during the warm summer months. The park has an extensive butterfly garden. The park is a demonstration landscape for the Florida Yards and Neighborhoods (FYN) program. Picnic areas & shelters, fishing pier on the Orange River. Canoe/kayak launch to the Orange River. Program amphitheater and playground.
Driving Directions: Take I-75 to exit 141. Go east 1 1/4 miles. The park is on the right (directly across the street from the FPL Power Plant). See program listing for details on seasonal offerings.
