Orange U Glad in Captiva Island

Orange U Glad is an extraordinary house with space for all your needs.  We recommend it as a family reunion property, a seasonal rental for Grandparents/Parents with multiple guests, or a yearly rental for a family.  It has sleeping space for up to 14 people as well as boat dockage with a boat lift on Roosevelt Channel.  We provide a parking space at our house in the Village for easy access to all Village activities.

The main floor living space is a large, open floor plan complete with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, a huge pantry and an adjoining full-size sun-filled breakfast area with seating for 8.  The Great Room has three sofas with plenty of additional seating for all your entertainment needs and it opens onto the screened upper deck with lovely wicker furniture overlooking the pool area.  The large Dining Room has a special chandelier framing the glass top table with seating for 10.  

The King Size Master Bedroom Suite is gigantic and opens onto the screened porch and includes it’s own walk-in closet and a  Master Bathroom with soaking tub, separate shower, double sink, dressing table, and separate commode room.  The  Bedroom  contains a daybed for afternoon lounging or sharing the sleeping space with youngsters, if required.

The main floor includes two additional rooms with sleeping space:  1) a separate office area  with wireless cable connectivity, a table top speaker phone and a pull out sofabed and 2) an oversized laundry room with bunk beds for overflow guests. 

The fully finished lower level has a large Queen sized one bedroom apartment with it’s own full bath, a galley kitchen, dining area, and living room and it’s own ground floor entrance.   The remainder of the ground floor space contains a large recreation room with a full size pool table, leather sectional sofa, large screen TV and 1/2 bath and it opens through french doors onto the screened-in pool and lanai space.  The pool deck has numerous lounge chairs and a teak bar for entertaining.

The upstairs has two Queen Size Guest Suites with their own bathrooms and a separate bunk room with two twin beds for additional sleeping space.

The house is tastefully furnished with great attention to detail and special feeling of home.  The Orange-U-Glad name will not only make you smile but welcome you to the special Captiva experience every time you return here to vacation.  This house is made to be lived in not just visited!

Fall Rates (October to mid December) = $4000/week

Holidays (Thanksgiving week/Christmas weeks) = $6500/week

Winter Rates (January thru April) = $6500/week

Spring/Summer Rates (May thru Sept) = $4000/week
