'Sanctuary' in Metro DC in Washington

Welcome to our cute apartment, we're in the Brookland neighborhood, a lovely historic college town with lots of single family houses. Locals refer to Brookland as ‘DC's best kept secret', it's a little haven in DC, away from the hustle and bustle but the Metro (Red line) can get you downtown in 15 minutes to the monuments, museums, white house and Capitol hill. 

The studio apartment is on the lower level of our house, has its own access and has just been remodeled. It’s light and airy but cozy too. It is self-contained so you have your own separate entrance and private bath. There is also a full size bed and a day-bed which can comfortably sleep an extra guest. Everything is newly furnished and decorated, comfy beds complete with the luxurious linens and towels.

A kitchenette is well equipped with mini fridge, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. We will make sure you’re fridge is stocked up with all the breakfast items you need.

We are close to all the attractions in DC, as we are conveniently located near to the metro (red line). 

Washington's monuments, the mall, the amazing museums, the Whitehouse and Capitol building are all within 15-20 minutes by car or metro.

It’s also a great place to get up early, hear the birds and walk or jog to the Franciscan Monastery and gardens only a couple of blocks away, it's over 100 years old. 
There are also many bike trails nearby including the National Arboretum.

The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is the largest Roman Catholic Church in the United States and is one of the 10 largest churches in the world.

Dont miss Georgetown for it's fantastic restaurants and shopping! Annapolis and Old Town Alexandria are also well worth a visit.
