Vacation Rental Description

Enjoy the best of both worlds in a million dollar neighborhood! The  
peace, beauty and serenity of nature, and the lights! camera!  
action! that Los Angeles is famous for. 
 
Revel in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains, while being only 5  
minutes away from Ventura Blvd. with it's great shops, restaurants  
and other local activities including golf, movies, shopping, live  
theatre, museums, farmers' market, nightclubs, bowling, roller  
skating, theme parks, horseback riding, miniature golf, tennis,  
hiking, and swimming. 
 
This five bedroom + separate studio/loft + three bathroom home,  
sleeps up to 12 guests, is a great house for family vacations, and  
is centrally located to most of La's major attractions. This  
spacious home offers 3,000 square feet of living space, and  
panoramic views from every room.  
 
Universal Studios, Hollywood, and Magic Mountain, are all less than  
a 30 minute drive from the house. For those outdoor enthusiasts,  
just two minutes, and you're walking in the hills of the Santa  
Monica Mountains! Plus for those of you wanting to visit the beach,  
it's just a five minute drive to Topanga Canyon, which winds through  
the hills for a 20-minute scenic drive directly to the ocean.

Vacation Rental Amenities

There are two large master bedrooms, both with king size beds, one  
has it's own bathroom the other an additional sofabed/sitting area.  
Two spacious rooms have queen size beds. The last bedroom has one  
full and one twin size bed (bunk). The property also includes a  
small separate tree-top-view studio/loft, with a queen sofabed, that  
can be used as a den, a sixth bedroom, or an office. Additional  
amenities include 3 rooms with cable TV, a DVD and VCR player,  
DVD/VHS movies, Sony Playstation 2 + video games, full kitchen with  
dishwasher, central air-conditioning and heat, gas BBQ grill, and a  
washing machine and dryer. On the rear garden patio, is a six person  
spa/hot tub - perfect for balmy nights relaxing in the bubbles and  
enjoying the twinkling lights of the city below.  
Spectacular view tennis court and pool, accessible by resident  
members and guests, is only a 3 minute walk to the top of the hill.  
Tennis rackets and balls are also provided, as are free unlimited  
local phone calls, and wireless internet access.

Activities and Attractions

So much to do so little time! This is a great house to use as a base  
to visit many attractions. Take an overnight trip to Mexico (3 hour  
drive). Fly to Las Vegas for the day from the local Burbank Airport  
(1/2 hr flight). The house is centrally located to some of LA's  
major attractions, without the crowds and noise. Disneyland is less than   
an hour drive. Plus all the local attractions like Universal Studios,  
Hollywood, Magic Mountain, and Getty Museum are less than 1/2 hr  
away. Less than a ten minute drive, is one of LA's largest  
indoor 'swapmeets' (flea Markets, 2 shopping malls, and just a two minute walk to the  
bottom of the garden, or the top of the hill, and you’re hiking in  
the Santa Monica Mountains! In addition, five minutes from the house  
is beautiful Topanga Canyon, which winds through the hills, for a 20- 
minute scenic drive directly to the beach. Less than 15 minutes from  
the house, are several public golf courses, movie theatres, bars,  
restaurants, nightclubs and during summer, free concerts in the  
park.  
There's also shopping in Camarillo, where one of the country's  
largest name brand outlet malls is located - less than 30 minutes  
away.  Or you could just relax in the 6 person hot tub/jacuzzi on  
the  
garden patio, and enjoy the spectacular city view. The Panoramic view from the 55 ft pool and  
tennis court, is only a 3 minute walk up the hill. These facilities are available from  
sun-up to sun-down. What kind of vacation do you wish for?

Vacation Rental Rates

If you book 14 days or less before your scheduled arrival, rates for  
a total of 12 guests are: 
 
$2142 for 7 nights, $306 for the 8th and each additional night.  
$1071/weekend  $357per night Mon-Thurs, 3 night minimum. 
 
Rates booked in advance (more than 14 days out) are as follows: 
 
January 1st-June 15th and Sept 8th-December 31st 2008 
Daily Rate: Mon-Thurs $476/night (2 night minimum)  
Weekend Rates: $1428 (Fri 6am-Sun 6pm OR Fri 3pm-Mon 10am) 
Weekly Rate: $2856/wk $408 each additional night of 8 or more 
Monthly Rates: $8568 
 
Jun 16th-Sept 7th 2008 
$3332/wk $476 each additional night of 8 or more (1 week minimum) 
Holiday weeks   
Christmas/New Years: $3332/wk (1 week minimum) 
Thanksgiving: $476/night (4 night minimum)
