Beautiful Property, Great Location, Paradise!

I reserved the Hemingway House for the Months of January and February for me and my artist wife.

The experience was beyond compare. The Host/ owner was very hospitable and acomodating. The location was excellent- a 5 minute drive to Captain Anderson's and the marinas, 14 minutes to historic St. Andrew, literally across the street to Schooners- the premier beach club of PCB.

The Hemingway House exuded Florida charm and comfort- Coffee on the balcony was heavenly!

THANK YOU, Karim- We Can't WAIT to come back to the Hemingway House!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Pictures ARE deceiving!

This property was a huge disappointment. We scheduled a vacation with other family memebers and decided to share a home as apposed to going to a resort or hotel, something we had never done before. After an extensive search, we came across this seemingly beautiful property with everything we were looking for. It had plenty of space, nice furnishing, extensive amenities, great location, and fabulous views. Much to our disappointment, NONE of the pictures online matched what we found when we arrived. Oh, the house in the pictures, is the house we rented; however, the pictures do not represent the current condition of the property. The pictures look like those "new home staging" pictures. What you're actually renting is a run down, filthy, disgusting, poorly supplied, poorly maintained roof over your head close to the beach. If fact, before we could even unpack and try to get comfortable, I had to run to a local store to purchase cleaning supplies with which to santize surfaces that my family would be touching. I even had to purchase new sheets to sleep on. We found soiled mattresses, dirty floors, molded toilets and showers, food still on dishes, dirty clothing still in drawers, etc. I was near tears that this fabulous vacation that my children had been looking forward to for weeks was nearly ruined because of the incredible misreprestation of this property online. When the owner was contacted, the only response we got was a brief and nearly worthless second visit from the "cleaning service". The only good things I can say about this property are that it had a private pool, and outdoor grill. It was well laid out with lots of room. And, it is very close to a quiet location on the beach. We did end up having a nice vacation, but I may never rent a house online again. I will certainly never rent from this owner again!
