You know Ajijic has some of the best year round weather in the
world, but experiencing the 400 year old cobblestone streets of this
charming Village first hand is even better! It's about location,
location, location. More than climate and charm, this quaint Mexican
Village has the services and amenities that you would expect in a
modern luxury resort.
Only 30 minutes from Guadalajara International Airport, Ajijic is
home to the largest U.S. and Canadian expat community in the world.
Why rent a room or pay the expensive rates at a B&B when you
can LIVE for a little while in the most desirable part of Ajijic, in
a quiet area near the center of town. There is nothing like the charm
and convenience of living in the Village! One block from
the Lake, one block from the Wednesday Farmers Market,(tianguis) two
blocks from inexpensive bus service if you care to venture out of town.
Only 4 blocks from the Lake Chapala Society and six blocks from the
Plaza. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, cinema, live
entertainment,florist,antique shops, unique galleries and
artisan shops within a short walk. No car necessary! A fifteen minute
stroll will get you anywhere and everywhere! This charming room with a private entrance is light and airy, tastefully decorated with lots of Mexican folk art, bright colors and plenty of character with beautiful tile work thoughout,
ideal for reading or just watching the hummingbirds in the center courtyard and garden from the terrace outside your doorway.
House is really owned by a Boston Terrier who will be happy to accompany you on walks in the lovely area vivid with beautiful plants and flowers or he will understand your need to ignore him and let you savor your
own private patio where you can enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. He will leave it up to you!!
High speed wireless internet is provided. You'll find lots of books . A game cabinet and even art supplies are available upon request. There is a coffee pot, cups and wine glasses and small bar refridgerator but with all the great places nearby
