Alpine Sunflower is a modern two bedroom, two bathroom condo within the Silver Bear condominiums, one of Mammoth’s newest and loveliest condo complexes located on Lakeview Boulevard just steps from the Canyon Lodge ski lifts of the MammothMountain Ski area.

The condo is sunny, spacious and open with many large windows that let in plenty of light and offer lovely views.  The amenities and furnishings of this unit offer comfort, convenience, and practicality that enhance vacation experiences of modern travelers and families. The unit is equipped with wired/wireless high-speed internet, a private office desk space, cordless phone with free long distance calls.  The in-unit washer/dryer and the well equipped kitchen with gourmet cookware and accessories will make you feel right at home.  The furnishings with a unique blend of antique and contemporary styles, combining with hardwood floors, lovely throw rugs, plantation blinds and walls with soothing tones and mountain flower décor set a special and pleasant atmosphere.  This unit is one of the few in the Condo complexes to have a private deck for you to enjoy the fresh mountain air and views while reading the paper with morning coffee as the sun rises.

The condo includes underground garage parking (accessed by a remote controlled door) for one car and an additional outside parking space.   The Project offers elevator taking you to your floor,  two spas, sauna, outdoor heated pool (summer only), game room and picnic area with gas barbeque grill. You can walk to the lifts at Canyon Lodge and at the end of the day take the gondola down to the Village for an Apres Ski drink, dinner and some shopping.

The large living room has two new large sofas offering plenty of comfortable seating situated perfectly so everyone in the party may together watch the TV/DVD and enjoy the warmth and coziness of the gas burning rock fireplace.  The dining area has a large window offering light and view, and an oak dining table with seating for six plus additional three barstool seating at the kitchen counter.  Entertainment units are equipped with 3 cable TVs, 2 DVDs, 1 VCR, and stereo with CD.  Two large bedrooms are furnished with king size beds, flatscreen TVs, alarm clocks and phones, with each room featuring plenty of closet and dresser spaces; comfortable, warm (down) beddings; and attached full-size bathroom.  The master bedroom has a private office desk by the window, and the second bedroom has a coach/futon by the window which can also be used as a full-size bed. 

Bed Arrangement: A king in the master bedroom; a king and a futon (full) in the second bedroom; and a sofa-bed with air mattress bed with an electric pump in the living area. The maximum occupancy is eight persons.

Mammoth Mountain is a premier world class ski area of the Eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, just east over the divide from Yosemite Valley.  This location provides world class skiing, ample snow with long ski season, verdant alpine forest, cascading lakes, trout filled rivers and streams, and abundant hiking, biking and camping opportunities.  Mammoth Mountain and the lovely town of Mammoth Lakes provide four seasons of vacation pleasure for the entire family.

Mammoth Mountain and the Eastern High Sierras are ideal for any season.  Skiing at Mammoth Mountain is from late November through May due to the high base elevation of the slopes (8000 ft).  Summer provides cool alpine forests for hiking, camping and local amenities such as golf.  Mammoth Mountain has established and maintained mountain bike trails, and the area offers road biking opportunities with breathtaking vista at every turn.  Yosemite Valley National Park is 20 min away to the eastern entrance and about 90 min to the Valley.  Mono Lake, a dramatic brine inland lake is an interesting day trip just 30 min by car.  Devils Postpile National Monument  is minutes away, offering great day hikes with dramatic views and overnight camping.  The Eastern Sierras is a haven for trout fishermen due to the many alpine lakes and streams, with a season that starts in early April.  Fall season is also lovely at Mammoth with bright, cool days and wonderful autumn colors as the aspens change.

Weekdays ($310 per night), Weekends ($360 per night), Holidays ($420 - $475 per night)

Spring, Summer and Fall Seasons: $150 per night, 3 night minimum, 4 night minimum for holidays.
