Breckenridge Winter Chalet in Breckenridge

This chalet is our home away from home and we hope you'll want to come and enjoy this winter wonderland. It offers over 726 sq. ft (not including the loft) of mountain comfort. This single family dwelling has two private parking spaces in front (open air). The chalet is only one year old and is completely furnished with linens and the kitchen is completely stocked with cook ware, dishes, utensils, and glasses.

Colorado Room: This 27' long room, with large windows looking out to the magnificent Ten Mile Range, makes a great place to relax. It houses a large TV and a dining table with comfortable seating for 4-6 people.

Kitchen & Den: As you step through the interior sliding door, you enter the open floor plan of the den and kitchen area. The 15-foot ceiling, with five clearstory windows and a ceiling fan, gives this area a comfortable spacious feeling. The den offers a queen-size sofa bed (Simmons Beauty Rest mattress). By comparison, the kitchen is quite large and the black appliances (full size gas stove, microwave and refrigerator) are all new. There is a small TV on a swivel that can  be viewed from either the kitchen or den.

Loft: The loft is accessed by a staircase in the den. It offers 2 twin beds as extra sleeping to accommodate guests for brief stays.

Bedroom: Back on the main floor, the bedroom features a comfortable bed with a queen-size, pillow-top mattress. You can warm the bed before climbing in with the electric blanket. The high ceiling features a ceiling fan with wall switch controls. You'll find wonderful closet space with an 8' length of hanging space and great shelves reaching the full height of the ceiling. Below there are 4 large drawers for extra storage. On one end of the room, there is a bay wall with windows on either side of a door leading to the back deck. This extra space creates a roomier feel.

Bathroom: The bathroom offers a spacious countertop. Storage in the vanity, includes under the sink storage as well as two large drawers on the side. And, the cabinet over the commode gives bonus storage.  An electric hair dryer is in the vanity for your use. The large mirror makes it easy for two people to get ready at the same time. The tub has a glass enclosure and a larlge corner wire shelving for toiletries. The toilet is a tall, elongated model.

Decks: The chalet has a covered porch at the entrance, and the rear deck runs the full width of the Chalet, and has a wonderful view of the mountains. The section outside of the bedroom is covered while the section outside the Colorado room is not.

Snow removal: The Tiger Run Maintenance Crew is diligent about snow removal on the blacktop roads and sidewalks throughout the resort. However, renters are responsible for snow removal on the rental property itself (2 parking spots & porches).

Other: Grocery stores are nearby, outlet malls and a movie house in Silverthorn, one of a kind shops in Breckenridge and Frisco, and outstanding restaurants everywhere.

This cozy chalet is an easy drive from Denver on I-70, then Hwy 9 into Breckenridge (approx. 85 miles).  

Minimum of 2-night stay is required. Smoking is prohibited on the premises and pets are not allowed. The person signing the contract must be at least 25 years old.

The Tiger Run Resort Lodge is directly across from this chalet. It features a large heated pool with women/men locker rooms, 2 jacuzzis, a game room and a coin operated laundry matt.

The location of this chalet within the resort easily accesses the wireless connection for computers.  

The Free bus line passes by the resort regularly and serves the many area ski lifts. 

During the colder days, you can enjoy snow boarding, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, sledding/tubing, snowmobiling, hiking, horseback riding, indoor ice skating, indoor swimming and relaxing in the jacuzzis.

The warmer days you can take in fishing, kayaking, boating/sailing, rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking, hunting, horseshoes, tennis, biking, and basketball.

The Breckenridge Recreational Center is open to the public and offers a world class gym, racquetball, indoor tennis and wonderful classes that will push you as far as you want to go.

Breckenridge and other nearby communities of Frisco, Dillon, Keystone and Silverthorn offer a host of outstanding restaurants and unique one-of-a-kind shops. Both movie theaters and live theaters are closeby. Antiquing, museums, historic tours and other sight seeing opportunities are abundant.
