South Beach Cottage in Miami Beach

The cottage is adjacent to the main house and accessed through a
gated courtyard. It is tastefully decorated and equipped with
nearly everything you'll need for a stay at the beach.
Open the cottage's French doors onto the Chicago brick courtyard
where you can read the paper or dine al fresco on the
patio furniture.
Delight in the cottage's details - port hole window, nickel door
knobs, and Florida white pine floors. With your own private parking
space you can park just steps away to your door.
Equipped with a small refrigerator, TV, sofa, table, gas grill,
private bath.
The cottage is provisioned with linens, towels, and dinnerware. It
is a small cottage, but more than adequate for a stay at the beach.
If you're headed to the beach, it's only an 8 minute walk away, or a
quick ride on the bicycle provided with the unit: be sure to utilize
the cooler and beach towels, too. We also have beach chairs and an
umbrella you can borrow.
At night, snuggle into the cozy bed, read from one of the novels on
the bookshelves, or watch Satellite TV at no extra charge.
If you need to connect to the internet, we provide a wireless DSL
connection (reception strongest in the courtyard outside the
cottage) or standard dial-up access.

Enjoy the character and charm of South Beach in one of its oldest
residences. Built in 1929 on Ocean Drive, this home and three
others were moved to their current location to make room for an
Ocean Drive hotel.
Located in the heart of the Flamingo/Espanola Historic District,
the cottage is situated at the end of Espanola Way on Jefferson
Avenue
which is blocked from public access on both ends to form a
private street -- no street noise, just solitude. The main house and
guest cottage have both been recently renovated and freshly
painted. With your own private parking space you can park just
steps away to your door.
The fabulous Lincoln Road pedestrian mall is two short blocks
north. With a weekly antiques, fruit, vegetable, and flower market
every Sunday, world class dining and shopping, 18-screen movie
cinema, the New World Symphony, and Jackie Gleason Performing Arts
Theatre, Lincoln Road offers something for everyone.
Walk just two more blocks north are the Miami Beach Botanical
Garden, Miami Beach Convention Center, or the Holocaust Memorial.
Looking for more culture? Check out some of the local museums Bass -
Wolfsonian - Art Deco - Jewish.
Looking for recreation? Flamingo Park is literally next door. It
boasts 14 championship clay tennis courts; raquet ball, hand ball,
squash, and basketball courts; 1/4 mile track; soccer, football, and
baseball fields; children's and doggy playgrounds; and a new pool.
The beach, an 8 minute walk down historic Espanola Way past Art Deco
buildings and the Spanish inspired cafe and shopping district with
weekly outdoor market. Details: 5 blocks to Washington, 1/4 block
to Collins, and a 1/4 block through the beach access alley to Ocean
Drive and the Beach.
