Vacation Rental Description

Fall Rates for 2007: Sept 9-15, Sept 15th-22, Oct 15th-21rst, oct 21-
28th $900 per week. Are you looking for a long weekend retreat: Sept 
7th -Oct 29 weekend rates ($225 night/3 night min) 

Welcome to the "Waterfall Cottage" on Long Pond--the most popular 
vacation lake of all the lakes in area. Whether it's listening to the 
waterfall outside the cottage, or watching the loons and sunsets from 
glassed in porch--you will be captivated by this classic 1940's 
cottage once owned by the Wrigleys (wrigley field). Long Pond is 
the longest of all the lakes in area and is known to be "the quiet 
lake". No loud speed boats, water skiing ect--more about swimming, 
fishing, canoeing, kyacking and along 12 miles of clean pure Maine 
water.

PEEPERS: 
THE WATERFALL COTTAGE is nestled quietly between a breath-taking 
waterfall where Long Pond & Great Pond meet. Wake up to the sounds of 
a waterfall or fall asleep in front of a HUGE flagstone 
firplace. 

The Waterfall Cottage is LITERALLY steps from the village of Belgrade 
Lakes, a popular summer residentail community, famous for it's B&B's, 
fine dining, shopping, outdoor activities including THE BELGRADE 
LAKES GOLF COURSE, a PRO 18 hole golf course voted in May 2002 one of 
America's top 5 public courses. So if you or your kids like the idea 
of walking into town to get ice cream or groceries, coffee, shopping 
or dining--this is the cottage for you.

DIRECTIONS: Flying? Portland Jetport-1 hour North, Augusta 13 miles. 
Driving?? We are 3 hours North of Boston. Off I-95, exit 112b-head 
towards BELGRADE LAKES on RT 27 west (13 miles). Go through town of 
Belgrade Lakes, and we are first left after you cross Bridge. THE 
VILLAGE CAMPS. Ours...THE WATERFALL COTTAGE is #4 on left.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Our lakeside cottage w/ its knotty pine orig. interior has been fully 
furnished with brand new furniture to make it feel as cozy and comfy 
as a cottage should, however we still have kept the feel of a "lake 
cottage" leaving no detail un-noticed. 

The livingroom has a new couch and chairs, 27 inch TV with cable/ 
VCR, and stereo w/ cd player. There is a local phone--access for 
internet hook up, for those who need this ammenity. The huge 
flagstone fireplace in livingroom is great on those chilly evenings 
and the views of the waterfall and lake from the newly glassed in 
front porch/diningroom is breathless.

The new gally kitchen has all new counter tops, sink, dishes, 
microwave and new floors. 

The bedrooms (2 downstairs W/ ONE QUEEN, AND THE OTHER 2 TWINS and 2 
lofts upstairs with two twins and other side has queen) have all 
new pillows, mattresses, and quilts. The bathroom has a new floor, 
and a shower only. 

Outdoors we have own private dock to tie boats, as well as a new rod 
iron table/chairs, and new gas grill. On the water's edge is 
a "common area for neighbors to gather" with a flagstone fireplace 
for roasting and toasting the night away.

PEAK SEASON & NEIGHBORS: The lake front house is part of a "shared 
waterfront estate" with 350 ft of water-frontagethat stretches across 
the estate. Each of the 7 Cottages have its own private property with 
own private dock where you can dock own boat. Our NEW dock has stairs 
that lead down to sandy and shallow water about 3-4 feet deep and 
gets deeper the further out--great for kids. Each cottage has accesss 
to a larger boat marina on premise, as well as the outdoor 
fireplace/grill, picnic table and wood shed (all the wood you need)
for your convienence.

Boats: There are Boat Rentals down the lake and will deliver to dock. 
You can also bring your boat own and dock at our dock--please 
inquire. NO very large water crafts please.

Location Location: Walk across street and VISIT two fine dining 
restaurants, or grab a homade muffin or fishing tackle at Day's 
Market that has everything from food, gifts, movies and more. 

Please keep in mind this is a "seasonal retreat", so there is no 
washer and dryer (a clothes line) and you can also get our linen 
service for an additional $35 (our house keeper will make all beds 
and leave out towels and will launder them on your departure).

Activities and Attractions

Belgrade Lakes is famous for the book/movie "On Golden Pond". Best 
Fishing in area (Pike, Salmon, Bass, Trout), as well as hiking, 
biking, boating (if you plan on bringing a boat or renting--just 
check with Belgrade Town Office about registering your boat--it's 
easy), fine dining, antiquing, shopping, and A GOLFER'S HAVEN--only 
half mile away. Also for the kids--summer camp activities at the REC 
Center down street. 

If your not sure what is the best lake to summer on--call the 
Belgrade Tourist center. If you are looking for a peaceful large 
clean lake next to town--you will love our lake and cottage.

Vacation Rental Rates

Reservations & Rates (subject to change anytime): To MAKE & HOLD a 
reservation, I need 50% of the rental, plus a $200 security deposit 
that will be returned if cottage returned the way you found it. This 
amount will be required as soon as we have made a verbal confirmation 
via phone/email. Please send within 5-7 business days to hold your 
week(s). 

The remaining balance is due 45 days prior arrival (or what we have 
discussed). Remember no dates are confirmed until deposits recieved.

CANCELATIONS: If cancelation occurs BEFORE your 60 day scheduled 
arrival --all monies will be returned!! If cancelation occurs DURING 
the 60 days prior to arrival, only if I can re-rent your week, all 
is money returned. (Per case basis)

CHECK-IN:          2-5pm (NO earlier please unless discussed) 
DEPARTURE:         SATURDAY 10 AM SHARP! 
Please leave cottage how you found it--THANKS SO MUCH! Linen Rentals 
and laundry service available, please let us know way in advance to 
arrange (ADDITIONAL $35).

May-June 30:     $1150 (sat-sat)
July 1-Sept 8:  $1350 (sat-sat)
sept 8 -oct 31 : $900 (sat-sat)
