Venice in July

Steven (Eustis, Florida, U.S.A)
Review submitted: July 30, 2011   Date of arrival: July 18, 2011

The House was in a great location. Close walk to the community park, 5 min drive to the beach, or a 5 min drive to the ferry to the private beach. One Word to describe Quiet. Where this house is located there was no through traffic. Quiet street with great friendly neighbors. The pool is large enough to enjoy, but with the beach so close we didn't use the pool much. July however may be a little too hot for some, being in the mid to upper 90's. A great location to start from. Boca Grande to the south, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda to the east, Sarrasota to the north and Sunsets to the west. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great quiet place, close to everything far enough away to slow down and relax, where you can take your pet to, at an affordable price. The owner, Jason, is a friendly fellow who cares about more than the money, he wants you to have a great time. Everything you need he has there for the beach even the scoop to find sharks teeth with. We found 109 sharks teeth in about 3hrs. If I don't buy a house there myself, I will schedule this property again.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, pet-friendly, romantic getaway

Owners response: 24 guests in 2 years and all have been great; Respectful to the home, appreciative to the location, offerings and neighbors. I have truly enjoyed getting to know you all however in most cases just through phone communications. Thank you all for your care of our home and passion to enjoy the many activities the area has to offer. Our home is available to all quests of the past except of course to those who have recently bought in the area; and thst too is a great choice. Thanks again, Jason

Cozy home away from home in beautiful Venice

Bill & Shauna (Hammonds Plains, NS, Canada)
Review submitted: May 19, 2011   Date of arrival: May 7, 2011

This cozy home was perfect for our family vacation. Our kids thoroughy enjoyed the lovely heated pool; it was fantastic in the evenings as well. The house is located in a friendly and safe neighborhood with a beautiful nature park just down the street (Shamrock Park). We enjoyed many bike rides with our family in this park; our kids were excited to see turtles and bunnies on our daily rides. There were a variety of beaches in such a close proximity (each approx. 5 or 10 min away). Our kids enjoyed searching for shark's teeth and surf fishing at the beach. We would stay there again in a heart-beat! Jason, the owner, was fantastic to deal with as well.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, pet-friendly, sight seeing

Owners response: Again, we are thrilled by the very positive responses from our guests at 1456 Ringtail. We are so thankful with the great respect and care our guests have given our/their vacation home. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou....Jason and Annie Holder.

Perfect Place To Stay

Sharon (State College, PA USA)
Review submitted: April 17, 2011   Date of arrival: March 1, 2011

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean, well maintained, comfortable and well supplied. All appliances worked well, cable was better than we expected plus the benefits of being able to use your laptop.
The location was great! We enjoyed riding bikes (which were provided by the owners) in Shamrock Park and along the intertal costal water way. The beaches we enjoyed were Manasota and Nakomis. We enjoyed the Venice Theater and also the town of Venice. Venice has great shopping and many fine restaurants.
The pool was EXCELLENT, it has a solar cover so the water temperature was perfect.
The owners was accomadating and extremely easy to deal with, they want your to enjoy their home. We're looking forward to returning.

Recommended for: age 55+

Owners response: We are thrilled about the level of joy and satisfaction our guests experience. We feel good about our guests feeling that it their own home away from home. Yes the beaches, park and down town Venice are all ideal but we would agree it takes some effort to pry yourself away from the pool. We are so thankful and wish to extend our appreciation to all our guests (21 in this our first year and 1/2) for their respect and care of our home. You all have been wonderful. Thank you -thank you = thank you!
