Luxurious Mountaintop Log Home Retreat with Hottub in Andes

This is not a cabin, but a custom-designed luxury log lodge which
sits atop a mountain with beautiful vista views. It is a secluded,
quiet, contemplative retreat for those looking for a quiet get-away
to reconnect and commune with nature. A private lake is available a
mile down the mountain. The lodge is surrounded by 5.2 acres of
lush
lawn, age old maples and stone walls. The lodge has two fireplaces
and sleeps up to 10 people in five sleeping areas with three baths.
Master bedroom suite is optional.

The lodge is full of high quality amenities, includes a fully
stocked
kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, Jenn-Aire stovetop, dishes and
utensils supplied. House has a washer/dryer, high quality linens are
provided, large color TV (no cable or satellite, but large DVD collection), DVD player, video player, 50 CD stereo, and wireless high speed Internet. Cell phones receive signals on top of the mountain.

There is an upstairs master bedroom with a king size bed and private
bath (optional.)

On the main level there is one bathroom and a guest bedroom with king
size bed, a huge enclosed sun and sleeping porch with a double sleep
sofa, a den with queen sleep sofa as well as a queen sleep sofa in
the living room if needed.

On the lower level there is another bathroom as part of a large open
guest suite which includes a fireplace, a king size bed, a double bed
and a queen sleep sofa, along with curtains to provide privacy.

The main floor great room has beamed cathedral ceilings with a huge
stone fireplace, dining room, kitchen and living room which looks
out two large sliding glass doors onto the massive deck and drop dead
views beyond.

The expansive deck has a six-person Vita-Spa hot tub, large gas
grill, deck furniture, picnic tables and three sun umbrellas and
affords gorgeous views of mountain vistas. A lower covered patio
with love seat swing and hammock is a great getaway on rainy days.

A large, detached two car garage is steps away from the lodge.

Located in a private lake community between Andes and Bovina Center,
NY, the home is just minutes from major skiing (Bellayre Ski Resort
is 30 minutes East, Hunter and Wyndam Mountains are 60 minutes East)
and golf courses, small lake rights provide fishing, swimming,
canoeing (non-motor boat must be supplied), hiking, tennis,
handball,basketball and club house.

The historic village of Andes is within 5 minutes east and includes
Olympic size pool and additional tennis. There are quaint restaurants
and shops, historic restorations, an active social life and three
houses of worship. The county seat lies 12 miles west.

We rent out Mountain Top - Log Home Retreat with a minimum of a two
night/weekend stay starting at $1000. Included are fresh linens, hot
and cold water, lighting, heat, use of the washer and dryer and hottub. Year 2010 pricing is effective for rentals starting after January 1, 2010.

The security deposit is 50% of the total rental amount for first
time renters and is required to reserve the rental. The full amount of
the rental is required two weeks prior to the start of the rental
period.  Cancellations will have a full refund if they are received at least
30 days prior to the start of the rental. Cancellations received
within 30 days of the rental start will have half the deposit
refunded. A $140 cash cleaning fee must be left at the house at the
end of the rental.

The house is open all year round with rates as follows:

8-10 person occupancy Regular Holidays

Weekend Rates (2 nights) $1000; with Master bedroom $1200

Holiday Weekend Rates (2 nights) $1800

Weekly Rates (7 nights) $2200-$2500

Extra Nights $350/night

Delaware County sales tax of 8 percent is not included in the
rate.

Check in/out times for a typical weekend is Friday mid-late
afternoon arrival, to a Sunday early evening departure. We try to be flexible
with your arrival/departure if you can be flexible with our cleaning
schedule.

Holiday rates cover Presidents Day, Veterans Day, Martin Luther King
Day, Memorial Day, Columbus Day and are a three night minimum.
Higher holiday rates apply for Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving,
Christmas, New Years - please inquire.
