If you want to go explore, Holiday is a wonderfully kept
secret. It's about 40 minutes from Tampa which has Busch Gardens and
Adventure Island, a fun water park with slides, wave pools and many
other exciting adventures! One and half hours from Orlando which
hosts all the Disney Parks and Seaworld which just opened a
fantastic new "Shamu: show!. You're 10 minutes from Tarpon Springs
one of the largest Greek communities in Florida, where you can enjoy
dinner, the sponge docks or a glass bottom boat ride or just window shopping. Clearwater Beach is only a short drive to white sandy beaches that are known throughout
the United States. Visit Howard Park beach -a local hidden jewel that is extremely kid friendly. Just north is Weeki Wachee, home of the mermaid show, a natural spring, with water park with canoe rentals. These natural springs are home to the beautiful and friendly manatees, it's a sight everyone should see at least once, but if you see it once...you'll want to see these rare creatures again and again - even off your dock.
Want to get some exercise and nature, take the paddle boat around the island.There's shopping, good restaurants, you can also rent a boat or jet skiis to visit the off shore sand bar, Anclote Island or Honeymoon Island, where you can spend the day swimming, shelling and watching dolphins- as the locals do. Weekly rates are $750. with monthly rates of $2500. during the winter season  (September -April) plus 9% State/Local Florida tax.  A $100.00 cleaning fee that is nonrefundable.
