vacation rental description
Beautiful 2 bedroom log cabin, on a bluff, overlooking Whitefish Bay-
Lake Superior. The entire cabin has been lovingly restored and
updated. Knotty pine walls, wood and stone floors, Kraftmaid kitchen
with island, Amish log beds, log and stone tables, gas woodstove,
local art, very cute. Wake to the sound of waves kissing the shore.
Have bonfires at night. Make sure to look up at the incredible sky. You do not see skys like this downstate. Stars are magnifecent. Go to the Lower Taquanemon Falls and rent a boat to walk through the falls for a truly unique experience. Cap off the day with a great dining experience at the Upper Falls Brewery. Or go to Whitefish Point Museum, then watch freighters go by the point as you skip stones on the beach, make sure to bring a picnic with you, kites are always fun too, or if you like sunsets, this is the place. Grand Marais and Pictured Rocks are great day trips. Or go four wheeling on miles and miles of beautiful trails. Pick blueberries in Jul, Aug, and sometimes still in Sept. Or you can just relax.
