Beautiful Setting

Our group had the best time at Fishermen's Village. This condo overlooked the pool area and the beach; the view was extraordinary. The balcony was so big, we all sat and lounged around on the balcony each morning and had coffee. Staff at Fishermen's Village was friendly and always greeted you when you were there. Daily activities at the pool were always different -- Eddie, the water aerobics instructors, beach volleyball referee, and Name That Tune host, was our favorite. It was perfect for the six adult travelers that stayed. Everyone had a bedroom and bathroom -- without having to share space, but could meet in the living room or balcony for get togethers. This condo and resort is perfect for adults with or without children. Close to town; walking or within cab distance when carrying items. Kitchen facilities available.

Highly recommend for a week or longer.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Freat place for a family vacation

My in-laws, my parents, my husband my baby and I stayed at this condo for a week, we had a great time, it has a great location, 10 minutes or less walk to 5th avenue. And also close to Scaret, Tulum and Cozumel (don't miss the snorkel activity in Cozumel or Scaret), great spots to visit. The apartment was very spacious, 3 bedrooms each with a bathroom, cable tv, wireless internet available at the lobby but since the condo is almost on top of it you can get the signal in the apartment, the view is amazing, the pictures accurately describe it, the beach is nice, the gym and the sauna nice too, the staff very friendly and honest too.
We had fun with the activities on the pool, like aquaerobics
We also enjoyed the outside living room and the terrace
My 20 month old girl really enjoyed the pool, since it had a section that it was perfect for her height.
The kitchen is small but has all the utensils and condiments.
You can plug your ipod and enjoy your music, the system sounds very well.
Decoration is simple and rustic, not a luxury hotel but we liked it, and it was very clean.
Only one of the bedrooms has the ocean view but that didn't bothered our parents since they stayed at the other 2 bedrooms which had comfortable beds and their private bathroom and tv and free of noise and light that could wake them up early.
We felt like if it was our own home in Playa del Carmen.
The condo owner was always kind and available for any question, offered good tips and great customer service.
We definitely recommend it and would like to go back and rent it again!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing, tourists without a car
