This beautiful and well-equipped family-friendly bay house, only one hour from D.C. and 15 minutes north of Solomons Island, features exquisite views of the Chesapeake Bay from atop a 300' cliff. Great for a romantic weekend or bring the whole family for a week's vacation - there's lots to do!

Accomodations include a master bedroom with a queen bed and full bath on the third level, two bedrooms with full beds and with full bath on the main level, and on the lower level - the perfect kids' quarters complete with twin beds, sofa and love seat, cable tv (ready for video game hook-up), full bath with jacuzzi tub, pool table with cafe tables and bar stools - even a second refrigerator for drinks and snacks. Two new, individual kayaks with life vests come with the rental.

The house is furnished with a mixture of coastal-inspired new furniture and antiques, is light-filled and meticulously maintained, has incredible views of the bay and property from all rooms, and with its wooded lot and fenced backyard (double lot) this house offers privacy and serenity for the perfect, relaxing but fun-filled getaway.

Linens Provided: House is "leave as you find it", so if you use houses linens and towels, they must be washed and refolded. You may bring your own if you prefer. Maid service can be arranged for an additional fee.

Beds: Queen Bed (1), Double Bed (2), Twin Bed (2) : Two main floor bedrooms have double beds. Master suite on third floor has queen. Basement bunk area has two twins. There is an extra double mattress in that can be pulled out and used for extra sleeping space.

Bathrooms: Three full baths - one on each floor, one with jetted tub.

Cable TV: One large wide-screen, wall mounted, LCD TV in living room. One cable TV in full finished basement.

Pool Table in basement; two kayaks with life vests and paddles

New kitchen with granite counter tops, wine cooler, refrigerator with ice-maker, built-in microwave, electric range/stove top, coffee maker, toaster. New dishes, glasses, flatware, utensils, pots & pans.

BBQ Grill: Tenants will need to bring their own charcoal.

Deck/Patio: Elevated deck with full view of the bay. Sits up on a cliff directly on the Chesapeake Bay. Spectacular views from most rooms in the house.

No Pets Allowed

Children are welcome but renters should know in advance that 1) the back yard is a rather steep hill leading up from the house. 2) The yard is within 15 feet of the cliff edge. The edge has natural barriers including dense hedges, tree groves and fence gates, but children must be supervised at all times. 3) Interior decorative items include breakable pottery and glass. 4) The Chesapeake Bay does not have deep, sandy beaches like the ocean. It does not have waves like the ocean.

Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Any person under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21.

Activities: Access to six miles of private beach including recreation area with covered picnic tables, charcoal grill, basketball court, swings and on-beach bonfire area.
