Rent a piece of paradise with this unique corner lot on beautiful black lake.  Enjoy two decks, brick patio with outside bar, large brick firepit next to lake, two boat docks, two hammocks on large yard with lots of shoreline for fishing.  Internet and cable for those rare rainy days.

Property is fully protected by galvanized steel sea wall, enjoy 172 ft of water frontage on deep inlet channel and 67 ft water frontage on the sandy bottom all-sports Black Lake.  The water is 8 - 10" deep at the seawall and ranges from 18" - 30" at the steps on the end of the lakeside dock. 

These cottages are located in a protected area on the west side of the lake.  Enjoy the early morning sun shimmering across the lake and the brilliant evening moon rising above lake.

The three bedroom cottage (Captain's Lodge) is approximately 1120 sq ft.  Completely remodeled inside and out including new windows, wood flooring, kitchen cabinets, sink, faucet, built-in pantry, dishwasher, gas stove, refrigerator, garbage disposal, gas fireplace, power flush toilet, water heater, washer and dryer.

The two bedroom cottage (Skipper's Cabin) is approximately 720 sq ft.  Also completely remodeled including all new windows, wood flooring, built-in pantry, toilet, electric stove, refrigerator and shower.

Take a drive to Ocqueoc falls for hiking and swimming.  State land begins one mile up the road where you’ll find sand dunes, ORV trails and hiking.  At same location stop in at country store for afternoon ice cream cone or enjoy a great dinner at Lorenzo’s across the road.  A couple miles down the road, you can also play golf at the nation's #23 golf course, the Black Lake golf course and dine in style in their full service clubhouse.

From here, you are 45 minutes from Mackinaw City, Petoskey/Harbor Springs, Cross Village, Gaylord and Rogers City.  You will never run out of things to do in beautiful northern Michigan.

• Captain's Lodge is a 3 bedroom 1 bath that sleeps 4 adults & up to 4 kids (2 bedrooms with queen size beds and 1 bedroom with 1 bunk bed (1 twin & 1 full) and 1 full size trundle)
• Skipper's Cabin is a 2 bedroom 1 bath that sleeps 6 (1 queen, 1 full, and 1 queen sofa bed)
• The weekly rental is Saturday to Saturday
• Additional $20.00 per payment if using PayPal (the cost PayPal charges)

There is a $300/cottage or $500/both refundable damage deposit required to hold reservation.

Cancellation Policy: There is no penalty for cancellations made at least 60 days in advance of arrival.  Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival will forfeit deposit and collected rent UNLESS cottages are re-rented for same time period.  In this case all monies will be returned minus a $100 processing fee.
