No need to moor your boat offshore.  The water at dockside on the lake is approximately 18" – 30" deep.  The water at dockside on the channel is anywhere from 2’ – 4’deep. 

One of the largest on the lake, the yard provides plenty of space for gathering with your friends and family to enjoy outdoor games, picnics, sunbathing and fishing.

Take a drive to Ocqueoc falls for hiking and swimming.  State land begins one mile up the road where you’ll find sand dunes, ORV trails and hiking.  At same location stop in at country store for afternoon ice cream cone or enjoy a great dinner at Lorenzo’s across the road.  A couple miles down the road, you can also play golf at the nation's #23 golf course, the Black Lake golf course and dine in style in their full service clubhouse.

From here, you are 45 minutes from Mackinaw City, Petoskey/Harbor Springs, Cross Village, Gaylord and Rogers City.  You will never run out of things to do in beautiful northern Michigan.

These great cottages on a corner lot of beautiful Black Lake are for rent from May to October. Weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday.

Off-season Rates 2012  -  $ 600/wk, $100/nt* – 2 bedroom cottage

*minimum 2 night stay, $50 cleaning fee/cottage

In-Season Rates for 2013 (Rental up to 10 adults and 4 kids includes 2 cottages, trash fee and cleaning fee).  $100 each additional person with prior approval.  $500 refundable damage deposit collected to hold reservation.

**Return guests enjoy $100 discount on rent and reduced security deposit

There is a $300/cottage or $500/both refundable damage deposit required to hold reservation.

Cancellation Policy: There is no penalty for cancellations made at least 90 days in advance of arrival.  Cancellations made within 90 days of arrival will forfeit deposit and collected rent UNLESS cottages are re-rented for same time period.  In this case all monies will be returned minus a $100 processing fee.
